My drier gets warm but not hot???whats wrong....I check exhaust system cleaned it and vent system too. power is normal I put it on express drying too and warm not hot?

Most electric driers have two heater coils, inside that provide heat to dry the cloths. Wires like in a light bulb only bigger. I suspect one of these coils is burnt out and thats why it is only getting warm not hot. Also be sure to remove the hose from the back of the drier and check for a restriction there.

We have a Kenmore 400 dryer. It gets warm but will not get hot--it is only one year old --what should we check for?

there are 2 thin coil wires that have current flowing threw it. it gets red hot and provides the heat to dry clothing, if one of these wires brake your dryer wont get so hot. very common its made cheaper all the time so it wont last.

1 week ago the dry was extremely hot and now this week the dryer is cold and the clothes are wet.

Last week your cycling thermostat went bad. This week you thermal fuse went out. This is how it happened.
You dryer cycles on a thermostat. When it goes out the dryer then cycles on the (high limit) thermal fuse. When it goes out. The dryer stops heating. You will find both after you remove the back of the dryer. They are easy to replace. There are two different thermal fuses but if you order the parts using the model number you will have no problem. These two parts are sold in a kit.

I have a Kenmore gas dryer 90 seriers, and when I dry clothes it will only get hot for about min, than stays warm durning the period of the drying cycle, what is wrong and how do I fix it....

The problem is with the gas assembly coils. They get hot and quit. Then later on they cool off and will work a little bit. Making it an agrevating intermittant problem. These are only 20 bucks and easy to replace:c433b30.jpg

Dryer does not get hot enough to dry clothes Roper REX4634KQ1 Electric Dryer

Most common cause of this is a clogged venting going to the outside to test this remove the vent from the back of the dryer and run a load if it drys ok them you know you have a venting issue and will need to be cleaned out if not plz repost and we can look deeper into it

High Heat but does not dry

Check the exhaust tube that goes out the back of the dryer. It may be clogged with lint. Ours did this about a month ago and and a thurough cleaning did wonders. I bought a kit from Lowe's with all kinds of attachments. It was really easy.
