Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3x Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Moto V3x doesnt recognise 2gb microSD card.

When i first put the card in it seemed like it worked well, recognised the card and even allowed me to save one photo to the card, but it didnt let me copy songs from the phone memory to the card, so as a first measure i turned off the phone, took out the sd card, put it back in again and then turned the phone on again. This time nothing shows up on the phone.
i've ruled out hardware error of the phone's card reader, as after formatting the card in my computer and putting it back in the phone the phone's filesystem is back on the sd card.
i've even reinstalled the flex using motokup, but still the same, the card just isnt recognised by the phones operating system.
if i take out the card while the phone is turned on however (i tried this as a last resort to see what would happen) The phone comes up with a message: "memory card removed, some settings may be changed"
I don't know what else i can do, i've obviously tried master reset which was a pain but it didnt do anything useful.

Binatone Homesurf 744 - put in micro SD card but nothing will save to it although it says it is there (can unmount it).

Please make sure the capacity of your microSD card is not larger than the maximum card capacity allowed by your device. For example, if the maximum card capacity allowed by your device is 16 GB and your card capacity is 32 GB, your device may not recognize it. And is the "unmount SD card" option grayed out or solid ?

Hope this helps.

Hello, may i ask why my htc 310 doesnt recognise micro sd card?

1. Check to see if the card is defective or not. You can use a card reader to see if your desktop/laptop recognizes it.

2. If the card is OK, check the User's Guide/Instruction Manual for your phone to see what is the maximum card capacity allowed by the phone: 8GB/16GB/32GB/64GB. I believe the HTC 310 allows a maximum of 2GB for a MicroSD card and a maximum of 32GB for a MicroSDHC card.

Hope this helps.

Is there an up-date which will allow dimage Z6 to use a 4 GB storage card please. My camaera will only recognise up to 2GB SD card.

Sorry, no. SD cards max out at 2GB. Larger SDHC cards are electronically incompatible and will only work in devices specifically designed to accept them. It's a hardware incompatibility and no amount of firmware changes will make a SD device accept SDHC cards.

I have a r4 revolution for ds and the 2gb mini sandisk that slots in to a usb key however my laptop nor my pc will recognise when the usb is inserted in to the computer. The computer recognises other usb's...

Hello guy,

It sounds like your micro sd card is bad. Can you get a hold of anew one and test it out? If that works fine but your R4 still doesn't work then you might have a bad fake.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card like the R4 SDHC there too. http://www.dscardworld.com I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.

External memory - sd card recognition on pc??

if it doesn't even appear on windows explorer either the sd card, usb link or iriver is defective. if all else fails try getting a memory card reader. this allows you to store files on the card through the computer and still be able to insert the card as external storage on the iriver x20. the only trouble with that is that its hard to get the card in and out of the iriver
