SOURCE: pond pump trips safety switch

Check first if there's continuity between the electrical lines and body of the motor. if there is, then you have a line to ground fault in your motor. If there's none, check the resistance between the phase windings. If you get an infinity value, then the motor windings is shorted. If you get an acceptable resistance value, try to rotate the pump with your hand. If there's a considerable resistance, you might have a defective motor or pump bearings.

SOURCE: what kind of is used in a simer submersible

The Simer brand of submersible dewatering pumps rely on being fully submersed in water for proper cooling and for the seals to remain water tight and effective.

According to the manufacturer, there is no oil used in the pump, other than a very small amount that was used in assembling the pump at the factory, so you shouldn't oil the pump, but rather follow the recommendations as to making sure the pump is installed properly.

Here's the owners manual for your particular pump (Model #2300) so you can check the troubleshooting FAQ's and so you can also contact the manufacturer, should you need replacement parts or need to make a warranty claim, etc.

if yes
There is a motor problem,
You can check your pump power cable try to find any damage or hole in it.
If the cable fine
And if the impeller and wheel still turn before triping the breaker It would be a good thing to check the amperage with a special electronic tool to see how much amperage the pump take,
or
if you are good in manipulating tool we can send you the breakdown or i can support you to open it and to check the motor trying to find any burn part in it. That way we will know right away if its worth to fix it.

Assuming that your Sears submersible pump Model
M4DO2B-01 can pump water at more than 25 feet
elevation. You can run it even without a manual. Just connect your discharge hose up to the point of discharge. Use a 220/110 volts transformer with a rating of at least 3KVA. Connect your 110 volt line to 110 outlet of the transformer and the submersible pump to 220 outlet of the transformer. This 3KVA transformer can handle up to 1HP pump.Send your
e-mail for further assistance.

I have a jacuzzi 1/2 hp submersible well pump. Does this need any regular maintainance to keep it happy.

No preventative maintenance is necessary. However, a happy pump always has water above it and should not pump sand. If the water level in the well is below the pump/motor they will overheat. If this is a problem your local pump company can install a module to protect your pump from this type of event.
