these motors are famous for the inyernal fuse blowing in the fan motor. check continuity between the red and blac wires. if there is non the fuse is gone. These motors are fairly easy to take apart and change the fuse . hope this helps

check the breakers first they are probly on seperate breakers if thats not the problem your fam motor may have over heated and need to be reset or replaced after being tested

maybe. he should check for superheat and sub cooling with digital stats and calculate those number in relation to the outside temp. if he just put the hoses with the two gauges on its really really hard to adjust properly. a couple oz. of gas really can make a diff in the numbers not detectable by the hose and gauges and can make your system freeze up of not work at all.
