According to Newair, the ice maker may be leaking coolant, which requires a "qualified technician" to fix. Check to see if there are any oily substances leaking from the device. Also, the device may be in too warm of an environment (but if it has been working in the past where it is placed now and that environment's conditions haven't changed, I personally don't believe this is the issue). On another note, the water in the reservoir may be too warm, so try filling it with colder water.

There is a probe that tells the machine it's full. Change it.

When frost builds up on the little flapper at the top of the door above the ice maker it can get stuck. It tells the ice maker to keep making ice. Try cleaning the mechanism of frost and make sure it operates freely.

the noise is came from your compressor due to long uses or operation the mechanical inside possible for wear and tear you need to replace compressor before you replaced try to observe its operation.

On these machines their is a thermostat that tells the ice maker that it is cool enough to turn on rotate and turn the waterflow on.Their are 2 different types of machines.Some machines pull cool air from the top of the machine downward in between the back of the machine and the wall and then out the bottom of the machine or even worse some machines pull cool air from the bottom of the machine upward in between the wall and the back of the machine and then out the top of the machine.The thermostate is either located on the bottom of the machine or on the back of the machine.You should clean all the dust bunnys and debrie from the back and bottom of the machine (make it look new).This adds to the airflow also sometimes when installing the machine people pull off the cardboard from the back of the machine this is usually at the bottom of the machine.If this has happened just cover it with some cardboard and some duck tape.You should be able to put a 4x4 inbetween the back of the machine and the wall.Do not stack or limit the stack of stuff on the top of the machine.The freezer should be in between 32 and 35 degrees this maters even if it is off a degree or 2 the machine may not work.It may take a little wile for the machine to cool down enough for the ice maker to kick on.A simple thermamitor would be nice for testing the temp.This is only one option and it may work or it may not but hey it is cheep
