I'm afraid this unit does not have the capability for wireless. It would have to have a dedicated transmitter and specifically dedicated wireless speakers with the correct firmware(software that links the Bose to the wireless) Some home theater systems use rear wireless speakers, but not this one. Sorry.
I had exactly the same problem. My unit worked fine until a loose power cable resulted in the receiver being turned on and off a couple of times in quick succession and then after this the a/c in light on the rear speaker was lit but the wireless link light would not come on (and the 'W' on the main unit flashed constantly). The solution for me was basically a reboot. This is what I did; - unplug the wireless receiver - unplug the main unit - remove the digital transceiver unit from its slot in the back of the main unit - plug the main unit back in and turn it on - the 'W' won't flash as the transceiver has been removed (not sure if you if it's necessary but I made sure it was producing sound to the front speakers) - unplug the main unit again - reinsert the digital transceiver - plug the main unit back in, turn it on and set it to produce output/sound (the 'W' will be flashing) - then plug the wireless receiver back in again ...presto the link is made, the 'W' stops flashing and the rear speakers work again.
Hope this elaborate reboot works as well for you as it did for me.
I bought the system samsung HT-TZ 422 but wireless receiver module is not connected spikers or not riding tx card.Sound test system is show all spikers but from wireless module is not hiring. When can i get any hepl. Thanks. Marek.
You need to check the cable that connects the Comfort Control to the upper unit. This cable has four wires and should have continuity through all wires. If there is a break in one of the wires or a short, it will cause the CCC to fail and report an error. If all this is fine, then you have a bad control unit in the main unit. Try unplugging the rear unit from the control board and then resetting the Tstat, if this works, then there is a communication problem between the front AC control board and the rear AC control board or the rear control board is bad. Check the cable between the front and rear AC for OK. If it is alright, then you have a bad control unit in the front unit.
Another quick check is to remove the inner shroud from the front unit pull down the control box. Remove the access cover and view the dip switch panel located inside. It should be labeled Zone 1 Zone 2 etc...try turning off Zone 2 and furnace and resetting the tstat. If this works then turn zone 2 on and reset the tstat. If this is ok, then turn the furnace on and reset again. If this works, then all should be ok. If one of these fails, then you can pinpoint the problem there and move forward.
i installed a rear monitor where my rear entertainment was and i just unplugged the unit. this caused no sound in the rear speakers. all i did was hook up the rear entertainment and put it somewhere out of the way. this is a possible solution.
time to reset the microprocessor. See page 87 in manual.
1) switch off the unit using the main unit's power operation (small power button)
2) hold the PURE DIRECT button and DIRECT button at same time and turn the main unit's power operation on.
3) wait for entire display to flash in 1 second intervals
now the speakers need to be set up again but zone 2 will be working. i suspect a power surge causes the microprocesser to be corrupted. i put a power surge protector and have not had problems (lately).
You should have two pieces for your wireless rear speakers setup. A. a wireless card inserted behind the all in one receiver. B. the receiving box that will connect to the 2 rear speakers. Also, you should not have any obstacles to block off the line of site for the rear speaker receiving box to the wireless card. Best way to test it is too simply leave the rear speakers connected to the rear speakers receiving box on the floor near the a/v receiver with dvd player built in.Play a dvd and see if you have sound coming out from the rear. solutiondoct
I know this is old and im sure you have it solved by now, but it might be a good idea to check the amp setting of Zone 2. Is it switched to Internal or external? I remember something strange about this amp in that when you change from using the rear surrounds and go to use them in Zone 2, it resets the amp setting or something like that. Hope it helps if you still need it.
CANNONT RECIEVE SOUND FROM THE FRONT N REAR SPEAKERS WHEN PLAYING A CD/DVD. THE RADIO AUTOMATICALLY PLAYS THROUGHTOUT THE CAR. WHEN SRC DVD/CD IS SELECTED NO SOUND EMERGES. SO I PUT ON THE DUAL ZONE. AND THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE SOUND IS TO HAVE ONE ZONE TUNER, AND THE OTHER DVD. WHEN I REVERSE THEM OF COURSE THE SOUND WILL SHIFT EITHER FRONT OR BACK. IF U CAN HELP ME FIX THIS AND RECIEVE SOUND FROM ALL SPEAKERS WHILE CD/DVD anPLAYING I WILL APPRECIATE IT. THIS IS COUPLE MONTHS NEW. IT WORKED ONCE OR TWICE IDK HOW THOUGH. AND NOW I'VE TRIED IT ALL BUT STILL CANT FIGURE IT OUT. i went into the zone control and turn off the rear and i still have nothing. pleease help
