Trying to remove a watermark from PDF Document

A company sent us a PDF with DRAFT watermark, said we were to modify document, an agreement, with our names and details then Print, Sign and return.

The PDF document was not locked in any way but there is a DRAFT that prints diagonally on each page. How do I eliminate this. Is Acrobat 6 Pro, registered version.

Under the menu in Document, then look for the feature Watermark. Once there it should give you the option to remove. If not then you need to have the original sender re-send the finalized version.

How to set watermark at printer?

normally the water mark is set in the document as it is being prepared , same as headers and footers
The printer just prints the document as it is presented
open up a new document in the tool bar at the top you will see tabs --home --insert---design--page lay out etc
click on design and to the right you will see an icon with watermark under it
that is the section that you use to put a water mark on the document you can open a document already saved and you may also be able to add the watermark after it has been completed as it is a change to the document

Remove PDF Password and Unlock Password Protected PDF file to View or Modify PDF...

PDF files have become the defacto document standard on the Internet. Why? Well because it is the Portable Document Format. The file you created will look just like you had prepared it, irrespective of the software used to create or read the file or whether the other person has the fonts you used. It also offers hundreds of other options that make it truly great for the power user.
However sometimes you get a PDF file from a friend/colleague or from the Internet that is password protected. Some require a password to open, others have the fonts, images and other content protected and others prohibit you from printing the file. You can of course contact the person concerned to get the password, but there can be plenty of situations where you would want to use a password protected PDF file otherwise! So, here I tell you a wonderful tool PDF Password Unlocker.

When I print out a Word document the word ?DRAFT? appears across the page horizontally. Why?

Go into the "properties/preference" of the printer, and under "extras" or something similar, look for "watermark". Be sure to set it to "No Watermark", else you'll get that "draft" stamp each time you print something.

How can I scan a document into the WorkCentre M20i so that it is emailed as a word document and not a PDF doc. When we scan a document it is emailed as a PDF document.

You can not email documents on word format directly fromt he device.
PDF and image formats such as tiff and jpeg are the only formats you can scan.
A word document is a raw document that as been modified and formated by a specific text processor, in this case MS office. And the decive does not contain this processing capabilities.

I will "assume" (i know its taboo) that you have properly inserted the serial number they sent/e-mailed you after you purchased it? You might also have to register this product with them. Check to make sure that the name and serial number match EXACTLY with the one you provided to them at time of purchase. If all this fails? Contact them, they and you should have a copy of your purchase to prove that the number or reg they gave you is faulty.

    Hope this helps

    Draft word

Hi. I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have a watermark set on the document. If you are using Microsoft WORD, go to PAGE LAYOUT and click WATERMARK, then REMOVE WATERMARK.  (I have Word 2007) I'm not sure how to do this on previous versions. Hope this helps.
