1- Look at the GE manual and find the code of your LXI TV.
2- Aim the remote control at the TV and press on TV.
3- Aim the remote control at the TV again and enter the code.
4- Try to turn off and on the TV from the remote control. If it turns off then the remote is working fine....

I have a Phillips LXI 46in TV. How do you save channels?

while i dont have a true answer, I can tell you its a magnavox tv sold by sears produced back in 93. Ours just started doing this last week. I couldnt find any help online so we replaced it with a new led flat panel. WOW what a difference, the LXI was great for the past 17 years but the new tvs are better. We put the LXI in the garage because we couldnt throw it away. That tv was like a family member, if i figure out how to fix it i will post the how to.

I have an older model slimview lxi projection screen TV, Model number 62654628391, Serial Number 31056978. This projection was manufactured November 1993. This projection was given to me because they wanted. the Problem that I'm having with this projection is that the colors needs to be adjusted and the PIP needs to set . I lost the owner manuel to the slimview lxi. Please help me as soon as you can. can I get a tip on what to do. Tammy

I saw the LXI tv indicated on the other post to Slinteriors (I mainly fix computer screens not tvs). As far as I know LXI tvs has remote.
If you lost it you can use an universal remote with the following codes for LXI: 000, 013, 018, 021, 023, 054.
Alternatively you can buy one from this website, as they claim they have a replacement remote for your model , complete the form on this link with your details.
I think a replacement remote will cost between $40 and $50.
