Where can i find a manual for ultrex pressure cooker?

The company had a major recall and went out of business. No manuals appear to be available on the web.
Here are some general instructions you can use:

1 Set up your cooker. Place your Ultrex Pressure Cooker on the stove. Remove the lid and pour in no more than 2 inches of water. Depending on what you are cooking the amount of water will vary. More water will ultimately cook larger amounts of food, but you will need to refer to your specific model's instructions on this matter.
  • 2 Put in the food you wish to cook. Close and lock the lid firm to the pot. Make sure it is locked securely so none of contents boil out of the top.

  • 3 Turn on your burner to high heat for approximately ten minutes. Allow the water to boil.
  • 4 Turn the stove down to a low setting after the water is boiling in the cooker. Flip the pressure valve closed and allow your food to simmer.

  • Set the pressure valve to ten pounds. For vegetables, cook 30 to 45 minutes. For meats, cook 45 to 60 minutes.5
  • 6 Open the pressure valve and allow the pressure to discharge. Unlock and remove the lid to find your fully cooked meal.

Se e4 on my cooker what do i do

The problem is a Signal Switch Malfunction. It has to do with the power switch and the pressure switch from what I have been able to find out. Mine doesn't have a pressure problem it just goes to E4 once you set the time. I gave the switch a good smack and it has been working for a while. This is the second time and this worked both times now. I am sure the switch will have to be replaced at some time. From what I have seen this is a very common problem. There is one way to fix this problem, albeit not the best. I was able to bypass the E4 error by completely bypassing the electronics and wiring the heater coil to get power whenever the pressure cooker is plugged in. It was a very simple job, anyone with any electrical experience can do this. The only problem is that it is a safety concern as there is no way for the heater to turn off even if pressure is getting to be way too high. There may be a pressure relief valve in the lid but the heater coil won't shut off, so don't leave it unattended! But at least this way to you can still pressure cook. I need a manual for miu france pressure cooker model 95080

MIU France produced a video to explain how the pressure cooker works. You can view it here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJhVqdx7f9M&feature=c4-overview&list=UUk09IwTBUtsp_BCGLXF6QYw

You might want to check the Free Pressure Cooker Manual library occasionally - if the manual you're looking for isn't there they'll likely add it soon!

    Displays e4 wont work

Removed the 3 screws on the bottom. There is a relay near the circuit board. Kind of looks like an old morse code relay. Just tapped out "E 4" in morse code. Plugged it in and it works fine.

Error code keeps flashing wont pressure up and they wont stand behind their product

The vent valve is not seated on the vent and pressure won't build up. Either remove the plastic cover from the vent valve or slide it up enough so that the valve seals on the vent. If you remove the plastic cap, you will need to manually tilt the valve to "quick-vent" the cooker. Watch out for steam burns! Should work fine after that. You need to unplug the cooker and re-plug it to reset the "E4" error message.

You can remove the plastic cover from the vent valve and it will work fine. If you remove the plastic cap, you will need to manually tilt the valve with a utensil to "quick-vent" the cooker. Watch out for steam burns! Should work fine after that. You need to unplug the cooker and re-plug it to reset the "E4" error message.

No. if the steam is coming out, the vent valve is not seated on the vent and pressure won't build up. look at the pressure cooker section (some other pressure cooker is showing in the photo) use the drop down menu to choose the model number of your cooker and click view, it should download as a pdf (or you can save it as one) on your computer.

Hint: I tried this on firefox and the 'view' button would not work, so you may want to use Internet Explorer to get your manual.
