There should never be bubbled up soap in your dishwasher. That is a sure sign of using dish soap instead of dishwasher soap. That will cause leakage. To remedy, cut open 3 or 4 pyhzeme (spelling?) capsules (usually used for stomach gas problems) and run for a 10 seconds or so, (which will knock down the suds) then pump out. This should fix your current problem. Please remember, I didn't build, sell, use, or repair your dishwasher in the past, just gave you free advise on how to solve your current problem. Please don't rate if you don't think this is a Fix-Ya for you, as any other rating will lower my score.

Too much sink water causes flooding from dishwasher.

If you let it sit with vinegar and it worked after for a while that tells me it may be plugged up with grease. Might be worth while trying to clean it out with Drain O a drain cleaner. Make sure its washed clean after. Grease and dirt builds up after a while in all machines. If vinegar works might be worth cleaning more often.

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that I have had for a year and a half - 8 months ago it broke and leaked into my kitchen ruining my wood floor which had to be replaced. Shortly after that the top sprayer...

I would check to make sure that the top spray arm wasn't over tightened when it was installed. That spray arm threads onto a plastic supply tube which is easy to strip, which will cause it not to tighten properly and leak down the side of the dishwasher and acros the floor.

Kitchen floor

You have to replace the floor joists. This is accomplished with bottle jacks to raise the floor high enough to fit new floor joistsalong side of the old ones.

Its best left to somebody who is experienced in construction

Leaks when being unloaded

I may not have the full solution here, but to avoid (expensive) sub-floor damage, I recommend you do the following.  Assuming that the water is not coming from some dripping between the opened door at the hinge....
-Remove the kick plate that is in the bottom, front of the dishwasher.
Use a flashlight to look for wet flooring.  Run the dishwasher with the kick plate removed, watching for leaks/dripping.  It is possible for a leak to seep under the floor.  If leaking is found, do not ignore it.  Pull the dishwasher, fix the leak or replace the dishwasher.  Remove the first layer of sub-floor under the dishwasher, looking for deeper damage.
You should probably do the same with the carpeted area.  Pull the carpet back and decide if the sub-floor needs to be replaced.  A flooring expert should probably inspect.
Sorry to be such an alarmist, but I have been around floor damage that was unnoticed and ignored.

Water on my floor

Is it the bottom or coming out the door at the bottom? When your seal is bad it will leak, mine leaks only on handwashables and delicates. I have had to have my seal replaced twice in the three years i have had one, and the last seal was not put on right and leaks.
