There is no power getting to my TV. I replaced the power cord and I still get no light to the on/off button. I tried plugging it into a different receptacle and that didn't work. I have a 30" Westinghouse lcd TV and it just died... not powering up when plugged into an working electrical outlet. Interesting thing though, when new I bought a 4-year extended warrantee through Best Buy and it expired this past January. I guess though know what they're doing. Can the power supply be reset? Any help is appreciated.

Check plug for power. Make sure that plug has adaquit power. These TV's take a lot of power make sure breaker pannel is OK. Check fuse in TV. Good luck.
check all the fuze places which you can check without open body of tv.if dont find then its in your tv which shuld be repair by service center.mostly power plug fuze is shocked.if your power plug is ok then fuze will be inside the body of tv and don't even think to solve it in your own way because its not normal fuze.
We have a 42" LCD, model E421VA that had a problem. I called Vizio and they told me how to reset the TV. Unplug the TV from the power source, press and hold the TV power button (located on the TV) in for 30 seconds, then plug the TV back in and turn it on. Good Luck
You should be seeing a validation that the TV is getting power. Like the lights are coming on, or you are hearing clicking when you plug in or power up the TV. Make sure you have the TV’s power cord plug inserted all the way into the TV. Also, make sure the TV's cord is plugged into a good power outlet.You may want to plug something else into the power outlet to be sure the outlet is good. I don’t see how laying down the TV would cause this issue.Unless the TV was kind of dropped and or twisted to cause a board inside the TV to fracture/break. I hope this information has helped you. Found 1 of the 2 ac supply ( 8amp) fuses blown on the main pwr. supply. Replaced fuse and good so far. Looked over the ps for damaged components, none found. Checked current with ampmeter with tv on, showing 3amps.

If your TV was plugged into a power strip with a surge arrestor, the power strip may need a reset (if there is a reset button) or replacement (those surge arrestors are only good for so many "hits". Try plugging the TV in elsewhere.
If it was not plugged into a surge suppressor, it is time to call a repairman.
I have a Westinghouse Mod. SK-19H210s that is 16 months old. It would not turn on. Upon investigationg the problem I discovered bad capacitors on the power board. (2200uf and 1000uf). I replaced the components and the TV works great, you can purchase a new power board.
you have damage your tv micro chip, regulator ,or horizontal output with static current when you plug out your tv from th plug,what is clicking is the relay trying to power up your tyv but due too the damage it cannot power have a tech repair your tv good luck
