Yes you can definitely do that. However, the cost might not be worth it for you assuming you don’t already have a pre amp or a receiver laying around somewhere. What you could do, though, is cut off the ends of the Samsung speakers and connect them to speaker outputs on any old audio video receiver. Then, audio out of your laptop to the input of the receiver. I would ask around with your friends if they have an old one laying around. Also, used electronic stores will have them for cheap. Like I said earlier, it’s possible but may not be worth the cost as you could get a full speaker system for your laptop pretty cheap these days! Good luck!

Sort the guide by woofer size. Measure and match the hole opening, approximate volume of the speaker box and the -3db cutoff specified by Sapphire to something in the guide. Look for 4-ohm models, of course. Also, if you know the sensitivity rating (87db or similar), shoot for the same rating.

In order of importance -

DB match - get it wrong and the speaker will sound dark or bright.
Impedance match - get it wrong and the crossover frequency will not be correct.
Volume / F3 match - Will affect bass response.

As Sapphire is long gone, aftermarket replacements are your best bet. You might be suprised at how good a shot in the dark will sound. PE has a good return policy if you take care not to mess up the drivers during tryouts.

1. If the Supertooth 3 is on, turn it off by holding down the green Multi-Function button for about 5 seconds (until you hear a voice announce "BlueAnt ST3 powering down").
2. Hold down "Vol " and the green Multi-Function button until you hear a loud siren/distinctive tone.
3. The Supertooth 3 will turn on. Hold down the green Multi-Function button for about 5 seconds to turn it off again.
4. The Supertooth 3 has now been reset: all pairing and other information has been deleted. When you turn the Supertooth 3 back on again it will prompt you to select a language and then go into pairing mode.

You will now need to re-pair your phone with your Supertooth 3.

i would say its worth about $400 - $500. depending on the condition of the box plexy glass and subwoofers.

Hi - I had the same problem setting up my 3G S. Here's the solution. In "Settings/General" set the Bluetooth to "ON". Turn your ST3 OFF by holding the green button until she says it's Powering Down. Now press and hold the green button ON until Language Selection (British English) option. Select language by pressing green button again. Next she will say "Device Found-Paring Successful-Enter password 0000". Enter 0000 and your phonebook will start downloading. There ya go!

Make sure the BlueAnt Supertooth 3 is turned OFF.

1. Press+Hold the Volume Up button and then also press the green button to reset the unit.
2. After completing the above reset, turn the ST3 OFF again and wait at least 10 seconds.
3. Turn unit back ON and select language when prompted.
4. Follow the voice prompts and pair the ST3 with your blackberry as normal.
5. After pairing has completed you will hear the ST3 announce “loading phonebook – please wait”.

When your blackberry ask your permission to allow bluetooth to connect and donload phonebook allow it permanently.

since that u swapped l/r speakers already,it might not be ur speakers,if u wanna make sure ur 901s are working,feed a 1.5 v battery power to ur speakers,,(device a connector,piece o wire ,etc) if the speakers makes ticking sound upon contact,u got continuity.now..ur eq..make sure it its working,,(see instruction manual)lastly..confirm that ur amp which is powering ur 901s is emitting sound.(hook up a different speaker)

this company has gone out of buss,? but the speaker company.com has either bought there exsisting stock or reproduced the same speakers i have the ST3 model that is now called TST3 or TST2 higher the # the more bass it can handle. awsome speakers and you cant beat the price. sorry if my typing stinks but i hope i helped someone out there if you bought sapphire when they where a hot item here's your answer lol pete n.j.
