Adam a7x same box with defferent fuse, why?

do you mean you got a new one and it just has a different fuse? if so you may have already got a newer model or older model where the pc board inside has differnt "Revisions". just meaning the designers changed a thing here or there such as rev. a or rev. b. shouldn't be a big deal but it does state you do not have identical speakers hence they may also filter sound differently.

What size fuse do i need to use for my speaker protection kit

This will be based on the 501 model as you did not give a model Also I am assuming speakers are 8 ohms which I have no firm information for the Tannoy, but they should be marked when you open the unit. We are allowed 40 watt RMS for the woofer and 20 watts RMS according to the specs. They do not tell us what impedance the speakers are so we will do calculations based on 8 ohm speakers... if yours are different, then recalculate; P = I^2 * R so for 40 watts and 8 ohms then I squared = 5 or the current is about 2.3 amps max... You COULD use a 2.5 amp fuse, but if they were my speakers I would use a 2 amp fast blow which gives a bit of margin for the woofer. Now for the Tweeter we have I squared is 20/8 so this comes out I squared equals 2.5 or taking the square root we have 1.58... you could use a 1.75 amp, but if they were mine, I would use either a 1.5 amp or even a 1 amp as the tweeters seem to get blown in these. ALL of these calcs are based on the specs of power for the 501 model and ASSUME 8 ohm speakers... Recalculate if your units have different impedance thaan the assumed 8 ohms.

What is the fuse name/type

those are Red Dot Lamps. people most comonly know them as red dot fuses, ( whatever ) it just goes on the crossover to protect your hfd. if it blew you might want to take time to check your Tweeter.

The amplifier keeps burning the tweeters in the speakers after replacement

Please check the wattage of the replaced speakers, now check the cross over in the speakers, if the capacitors are short the voltage might flow into the tweeter coils to burnt them out. Also you can try and reduce the high frequency and also see if the tweeters heat up . If so use high wattage super cooled tweeters.
Check finally for fault in the amplifier output- high voltage/current.

Did you just use adapters or actual step-down transformers?
A lot of equipment today is 110/220 auto-switching, but if you get something built for 110V (120V, 100V, markings may vary) only, then you need more than an adapter, you need a transformer!

I have Behinger Europort EPA900, One speaker crackles, tried swopping cables etc, but nothing helps, the problem seems to be definitely with the speaker.

Open the speaker and look for loose connections. Carefully move cone with fingers. If there is noise when doing so...rubbing type noise, speaker needs reconing or replacing. If the crackling comes from teh tweeter section, then the tweeter may need replacing.

What kind of fuse does peavey pr15 passive use

Here is a site that has PR15 fuses... shown as a 2.1 amp. Very strange value, and it must strictly be for the tweeter portion as 2.1 amps is nothing for a speaker... I don't know that I believe this site.

If you have a Guitar Center near you, inquire there.

Replace High Frequency Transducer (Tweeter) on

You should order an exact replacement from Mackie since this is a reference monitor.

Consider putting a limiter or fuse in series to protect the speakers if this was due to overdriving it.
