Maybe there was a virus that had infected the media player.... If it has, you can get a new installation for the media player through the net!!

Stephen, First of all you need a really good antivirus not to see these kind of problems again. In computer world we are sharing lots of things and also you have lots of valuable at least for you valuable things in your computer. The best solution is using a good antivirus: See http://www.avast.com for free or use: http://www.kaspersky.com/
Coming to this situation: the best solution after an attack is always formatting your operating system. But if you don't want to deal with this try:
1)Again reset the time more before like a month. 2)Scan with different antiviruses. You can use hijackthis also : http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/ 3)After doing these try reapairing or uninstall-install again wmp. good luck

Trouble downloading an vocal email

does the file have some format usually three letters after the dot

You may need a particulat codec to play this, for a wide variety of Codecs you could download and install the codec pack from http://shark007.net (always scan codec packs for viruses before installing, this one is clean IMHO, I scanned it with McAfee)

Unable to remove msqpdxkciarrei.dll virus

This comes from a fake version of FlashPlayer that was released. I would recommend disconnecting from the Internet, uninstalling all copies of FlashPlayer from your system using add/remove programs then run AntiVirus do a complete restart of your system before doing anything else then run a full AV again just to double check then goto the Adobe site to download the proper version of Flash Player.

Fortunatly it's not a real Virus, it's a Fake Trojan! But I can understand it is really irritating. If this doesnt work please do let me know by commenting back on this site.

All the best

Computer viruses

There are actually a few different anti virus programs available for download which are free.

There is Avast, as well as AVG, both of which I trust on my own personal computer. I personally recommend Avast.

This link will bring you to the free home edition of Avast site.

http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

I really hope that this helps to get your computer cleaned up, good luck!
