Whirlpool LXR94 leaks in front left

My Whirlpool LXR9445JQ1 top loading washing machine (similar but not the xxxJT model) started leaking water in the front left (if you're looking at it) corner during filling and washing. I checked the standpipe and its fine. No leaks at inlet hoses. Im not sure how to open it up to see if its a cracked hose or something simple. Not sure which clips or which screws to undo in back or other location. Please help! Is it worth calling Whirlpool service? Thanks Salsaguy Whittier, CA

Re: Whirlpool LXR94 leaks in front left

I have a different model Whirpool (GSX9885JQ0), but a similar issue. I took the cover off and saw the bleach inlet hose was broken in two places. After replacing that, still leaked!! I wiped everything dry, and ran it again, and traced the leak. The water pump has a small hole worn into the side of it. The pump is located in the btoom front, just under the tub. The hole was on the left side, between the two hoses. I just looked up the schematic for your machine on, and it looks like you have the same exact pump...

Re: Whirlpool LXR94 leaks in front left

Taking the back off any washer rarely helps. Most are accessable from the bottom (you have to flip the machine on its back PLEASE BE CAREFUL, check the pump hoses (normally attached by clips to the motor assembly). As far as calling the dealer, you have to decide if its worth your time and effort.

Whirlpool model LSR733PQ0 serial CS2612711 is leaking water from bottom

Take off the front cover and to the left is a clear plastic tubing. Note and remember where to reconnect it. Take it off both ends and clean it out with a metal hanger, careful not to puncture it anywhere. It is clogged at one end and the computer can't detect when the tub is actually full, so it overflows causing the water to leak out to the floor. Good luck.

Water is leaking onto the floor underneath my Whirlpool Cabrio (top-loading).

If its a small intermittent leak from the front left corner its the tub ring, whirlpool has redesigned the tub ring to fix this concern..

Frigidare front load washing macine leaks water

Sounds like the dispenser is leaking somehow, there is no filter that would cause it to leak. Remove lid of washer by screws on back lip and inspect during fill to see where leak is.
