Question about Canon DR-2580C Path-Through Scanner
Using Canon DR 2580C the scanner pauses about half way through scanning the document and then will continue scanning but it does that on almost every page. However the confusing piont is that it is not a consistent problem and none of the settings have been recently changed. Help please!
Make sure you are using USB 2.0 I have seen this issue several times, you may need to reinstall your chipset drivers. I have had this problem on 5 different computers and all were related to reinstalling the chipset drivers. Cannot explain why, the computers were not having any other issues just pausing during scanning. We have 50 of these scanners, they work well when the tires are clean.

May be the location where it is writing the data is not 'free'. Do a 'deframent' of the drive where you intend saving the data. Ensure there is enough space on the Hard Disk
