Trouble with complete restore on eMachines W3619

may be you can try to fix the issue by software, and restore your system by a recovery disk. Windows Boot Genius may be available to you.

Emachines 3240 windows xp home edition need to reset to factory settings no disc

Did this come with a recovery disc and you lost it? If it didn't come with one you may have a recovery partition that you can boot to. If there IS a recovery partition you should see a message on bootup that will tell you what button to push to startup to the recovery partition. If you DON'T have a recovery partition your only options are a clean install with a Windows installation disc or to call emachines (gateway) to see if they have a disc to send you.

You can contact them by following the instructions here:

How to do a complete system restore on a emachines D3315 desk top

All eMachines have a System Recovery in Start, All Programs. You have to create the recovery disk, then you can use them to recover your desktop.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Happy Holidays!

Thanks, Joe

System locked. need recovery disks.

If you are sure you need recovery disks, you will need your serial number to order them from here:

https://secure.tx.acer.com/RCDB/Main.aspx?brand=emachines

I believe they are around 20$, plus shipping.

Hope this helps.

How to put the recovery partition back on the emachines t5048

As far as i know the only way is to run the restore disk from emachine that is for your model computer. (it usually wipes the computers hard disk in the process.)

the link below will take you to their support site for drivers.

on that site look for eMachines Recovery Media Purchase Program and you can see about ordering the recovery disk that you need.

Computer crashed, not sure how to recover it and what to use.

TRY BOOTING WHILE PUSHING F10 OR F11. MOST GATEWAY AND EMACHINES HAVE A RECOVERY PARTITION FOR A BACK TO FACTORY RECOVERY.

Need to reload windows xp on Emachines PC

Yes all you have to do is.........

Turn off the Computer
Turn back on and Press F11 repeatedly when the message "Press F11 to start recovery" is displayed.
The recovery will load and display a menu of options:

Full System Restore (with Backup): This options will move all Hard Disk contents to the "c:\My Backup" directory and install a new copy of Windows. This option preserves your existing data files, however all applications and settings will need to be reinstalled. This option requires 4GB of free Hard Disk space for the new OS.

Alway suggest backing up your data before you do any recovery

How do i factory rest my 3240

First try the "Restore" function to the earliest date. If that doesn't work reinstall using the install cd. I tried to lok it up for you but you need the series as well as the model number. See link below:

Need recovery disks, or ISO's for emachines w3507

That E-Machine should have a hidden partition on the hard drive with the system files on it.
Restart and tap the F10 key at the black bios screen to boot into system recovery. hope this helps

there should be a reovery option for it.  When the system POSTs at the start hit F10  This should bring you to a recovery module.
