All in one printers are going to have these issues. If the slowdown is over a network I suggest having the client machines setup the printer as a local printer then adding a new virtual printer port that is calling over smb (regular windows style network address \\host_computer\shared_printername) Setting the printer as a network printer gives you a delay for some reason.

If the slowdown is happening on the local port (ie usb) it is most likly one of these:

USB cable that isn't rated for the speed (a old or damaged usb cable).

You have the printer connected to a slow hub (usb 1.1 instead of usb 2)

You have a slower device conencted to the same usb hub. (this will bring the speed down to talk to the slower devices causing the printer to go slow) Most of the time it is a cheap or old keyboard or mouse that will do this.

The printer driver is the wrong one or is the bloated version. I suggest using the normal pcl driver. HP is very good at providing the pcl drivers for every model they have.

    Hope this will help you.

May be this is a Driver incompatibility or not properly installation problem...try installing the Driver of that printer properly...

Have you tried any other USB devices to see if they work all right? Also you night try another USB port and try to isolate it to a specific USB port.

I just reinstalled my HP 3050 drivers and now it is printing face down instead of face up

I think that this is a driver setting issue. my guess would be to disable duplex printing. If I am not mistaken the HP 3050 is an OfficeJet not a LaserJet. you might get a better response if you were in the correct printer catigory.

My wireless printer hp deskjet 3050 is not printing the wireless blue light keeps blinking and does not go solid like it used to what do i do?

if the wireless blue light is blinking, it means it's not connected to the router or it's not communicating with it.If wireless blue light is solid ,it means it's connected to the network.
you will need to reconnect the printer to the network by using a USB cable.it will configure the wireless connection.
  1. to start the installation ,click on the start button on the computer
  2. click on programs or all programs depending on the operating system on the computer
  3. look for the HP folder and then left-click on it
  4. inside the HP folder,left-click on DESKJET 3050a or DESKJET 3050 series
  5. inside the DESKJET 3050 folder, left-click on product setup and software
  6. left-click on connect a new printer
  7. it will open up a page with options on how to connect the printer
  8. select wireless and then hit next
  9. if you are prompted to connect the usb ,please connect it
  10. if it asks you whether printer is connected to the network, select no
  11. click on next
  12. if usb is already plugged in,tick the box that says it's already plugged in
  13. hit next
  14. wait for the prompt to unplug the cable
  15. try printing wirelessly
let me know if these steps do not solve your problem.

Hi there!
(For Windows only) To switch the type of connection from wireless to USB conn you can do these steps:
-Click on START or the orb looking window icon on the lower right hand corner of your computer screen. -Click on Programs/All Programs -Click on HP (just the HP folder) -Click on your HP model folder (HP deskjet 3050) -Click on Add a device. It will ask you to select the connection type -Select USB. It will then ask you to connect the USB cable and wait until you see a Congratulations page to make sure that the product was installed successfully -Try to print a test page.
Uninstall from All Programs -Click on START or the orb looking window icon on the lower right hand corner of your computer screen. -Click on Programs/All Programs -Click on HP (just the HP folder) -Click on your HP model folder (HP deskjet 3050) -Click on uninstall.
Uninstall from CD -Insert the CD that came with the printer -when you see the main Installation Menu click on Uninstall
Uninstall from Control Panel -Click on Start -Click on Control Panel -Click on Add/Remove Programs or Programs & Featurs or Programs -Look for the HP programs listed (listed alphabetically) -Click on the HP Program you want to remove and click on Remove or Uninstall
*It may ask you to restart the computer so it would be better if you will save importand documents before uninstalling
Hope this helps!

Hi,

  • Did you try connecting the printer on any other USB port?
  • Do you get any notification while connecting the printer? or any sound?
  • What is the computer Operating System?
  • If you have any other cable, try with it.

I want to install hp officejet 4355-All-in-one.how i can

Hi.

Install the driver software before connecting the printer USB cable to the computer, then connect the printer. The only action required after installing the software and connecting the printer, is authorizing system changes if asked by Windows or by your security software.

If you have misplaced the original driver disk you can download the software here:HP Officejet 4355 All-in-One Printer - HP Customer Care.

Regards.
