Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional for PC

Intermittent bsod on system

Hi

My mother is having a problem with her system, usually on boot up.

This occurs on Windows XP Pro SP2

The bsod shows up with the following stop code.

stop: 0x000000F4 (ox00000003, 0x8A24C020, 0x8A24C194, 0x805D297C)

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical dump of memory complete

No other technical information is given other than the usual "A problem has been detected and your computer has been shut down to prevent damage" ..... & so on.

I have contacted Microsoft but they were of no help at all.

Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Windows does not displayed after boot, just "black screen".

Next time that you start windows, hold down the left shift key, that should prevent programs from starting automatically as windows boots. If the computer then operates normally, then take a look at your startup list (use msconfig). Otherwise...

Try starting in safe mode, see if problem still exists. If it does, something is going on with core windows system files. If not, then a program (which automatically starts) or driver is causing the issue.

In either case, you can also start in safe mode, but a version that prompts you if you want to load every file (and there are a bunch of them). The last file that is loaded before problem appears is usually the culprit.

Good Luck.

Blue screen on dell svc tag:GSKTL1S.Ox000000ED,0x8734D9EO,0xC0000006 how to fix this error?

Fine..You have reached the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD)..common in Windows Operating Systems. Generally this must be a hardware problem. If parts liek RAM or bad sectors in Harddisk, such BSoD comes, indicating the crash of the OS. Try repairing XP using the cd. If not, go for a format so that the bad sectors in the Hard disk is repaired.

Thank you!

Nlite Windows XP Pro SP2 not recognized

Dear,

You should use Nero 6 or above version. It is very easy to use.
Just create an image of original disc and then burn it on the blank disc. The copied disc will work fine, I am sure.
Please try it.....
