Hello. If the 3G is active in your area and at the same time your front camera (secondary camera) if Ok,besides 3G symbol is seen in your phone you can make a video call ....Hints : Open Call Log/contacts you wish to make a call >>Option >> Call >>select Video Call........good luck.
Check whether you are in a 3G coverage and the 3G video service activated on your sim card (You may check this from your operator)
if its all ok,
just type the number you want to call Click Option -> Call - > Video Call.
Refer below screenshot for 3G indicator in a nokia phone. look at the left bottom corner.
You cant make 3G video calls using N900 as the video call facility still not available with that particular phone due to its software limitations. But you can surf internet with 3G data services. Activate Network mode to use UMTS. and get proper settings from your service provider.
first you call your network provider and ask them for their 3G settings or configurations and when it is sent to you, you save it or follow whatever instructions are given to you. i believe after that you should be able to make video calls but note that it is also necessary for the person you are calling to have all these requirements too.hope this was of help to you?
U have 3G in phone but........U have not subscribed to it...and 3G is not activated yet..for your phone...activate it by calling your customer care center. And you can do video call only if the other person also have 3G activated phone..
Hi there, I'm in NZ and i have the same phone... so i'll give my suggestion from NZ... 3G only works in certain areas so you will need to check the area you are in... If someone or you are calling someone via video call both people have to be in a 3G area zone.... I'm not totally sure how you check to see if you are in zone but i do know that you have to be in zone... I got 2.5g and couldn't connect to a video call so you have to be in full 3G to be able to use 3G... Thanks.
