hey mate, was a trying time, used every disgruntled emplyee handling  tactic I knew in the end. Think it was the speech I made in the chat room,,with an anon sitter in the corner that clinched it. Just told it how it was, and ventured forth a few senarios of how to move foward whilst affirming the worth that Ginko really does have for this site as a business. I linked to this guys refunded premiums, and look through the solutions to see that Ginko, dispite his inability to play well with the other boys, is a shining light amoungst the highoutput boys. Just his work gets a bit ragged at the edges from time to time probably from sheer quantity. you gotta cut corners somewhere to churn em out the way they do. That and stepping over the line with AoE, opened himself up for a poor reveiw. The sitter left the room, Ginko had a epiphany, reveiwed the situation, and the rest is serenity at the moment. Just needed his egomania fluffed, and to forge a way forward. Anyways, I made the effort to end  the carnage for Lauren. It was hearing her perspective of loosing one of the most prolific experts ever in her first 4 months of her new job  that brought it home to me. The infighting thing is total BS. Quite shameful to keep on and on winding EVERYONE up the way he was. But FixYa need him , and probably another 50 more like him to cancel the BS input.  FixYa need to be able to ban from the lounge to stop that sort of thing happening again.
Start a new job Tuesday. Client Relations Consultant for State Government, Queensland  Transport. 36.25 hrs / week, rostered day off every 2 weeks, pay rise every year, promotion every other, pays $52k and able to do a degree through the system. Never thought I would be doing a job like this. I have a traffic violation  history that runs to many pages. Judge always looks at me down his nose after reading it ;) Proof that the justice system works... , just gotta keep my self out of trouble in the future. Instant dismissal for inappropriate behaviour as a govenrment employee to loose my drivers  license again(4 time ;)) Anyways, time for dinner. check out the chicks :)

hehehe we got 2 roosters already, joy of being on 10 acres i guess, now that I have built them there own chicken run, they are not at the backdoor crowing first light. They do crow, but i never hear them. we have another 10 or so eggs due to hatch in a few days. Have to build a chicken tractor for the other guys to move into so the the brooder is ready for the new hatchlings.
Seems that there is great interest in the breed locally, and non too many actually breeding them... enter my wife the chook nutter. She loves the dam things :) I just hope that she does get rid of the roosters, rather than become too attached to them.... too late.  I grew up on a farm, the old man had a flock of geese, used to cull them once a year before xmas and give them away to people. I my job was to clean with vinegar and salt and then  boil up "the copper" big 50 gal wood fired boiler, and dunk the beheaded birds into it to scald them and make feather removal easier. Developed a squeamish disdain for the whole process... gutting and so on. Forced to do it as a rite of passage by the old man, not sure that I have it in me to cull the roosters we are growing now. We need a chineese resturant to come take em away.... is how other breeders deal with the syrplus roosters. i wonder how long the life blogging is going to go on... in monthly generations :)

Sorry, Just got up and opened the laptop to see the latest.

So, I'm as much in the dark as you are. Weren't some of you off in a chat room yesterday where you could talk in peace?

Last night I was waiting for Hoku to show up and find out how his new attorney's were and he's in court today. But, I filled him in.

What I saw in the process of happening yesterday was a full blown nuclear holocaust, not just a flame war.

I think Lauren was hopeful that Ginko would let the matter go and blow over but that didn't happen so someone got tasked with removing offensive posts and it looked like someone may be on guard for that too. That's what a Mod would do, anyway. So, its what everyone wanted.

Thanks for taking the initiative, Grahem. I appreciate it and I'm certain Lauren does.

Your idea was classic to have an arbitrator in the Chat Room, did the Mrs. get the duty?, hehe. Anyway, it worked. That's all that matters.

When I've modded on sites we always had cool down tools such as removing post privledges by forum title and setting old posts as invisible and then handed the matter over to Admin who mostly did what we wanted.

I had thought Lauren would have had the ability to ban someone from the Forum as a punitive action. I would have, instead of 'wishing' it would blow over. I thought it would blow over too, but something is going on in his life, a woman, money, children or work. One of those, you've seen it all before too. But, Lauren was timid and if she didn't take some action she was at risk of loosing her first test as CM.

I've been wrestling with two PCs a printer and a laptop from a college kid who downloads torrent music that's going to arrive tomorrow or I'll never see it again... one or the two. If I get it and there's another zombie trojan I don't know what the Mom will do. Fortunately it has Vista and I can set privileges that will stiop her form loading software that's pirated and she can just take it to the IT Lab from now on as far as I'm concerned. Oh, my point was I have had three hours sleep and my back is killing me. I'm just now got some brandy in front of me, and about to take some pain killers and watch an old movie or two while I rest on my success.

I have been meaning to check the chicks out and or ask you about them but the Blog is brilliant and fun. I was having more blood work taken the other day and talked about the chicks you're raising to the blood vampire and how those eggs are known to be lower in cholesterol and higher in Vitamin E, etc. A local friend's wife raises them too and we buy those eggs when they're in season. We pay a pretty penny (American term for a higher price for a better product) for them.

BTW, I've noticed since we talked about ranking/vote inequities recently that votes on the Buddy Talk system don't count anymore.

I wrote Lauren about the inequity of TFTs ending up in our ranking when a Premium is dumped into the Free Pool and the others. Apparently, votes on Tips are not counting towards your rank anymore either. That must have been why she offered up money or something. But, something needs to offset what I think she did without realizing how much a positive vote on a Tip means to keep your score up. So join me on this with her. I know she is the type to feel really guilty about what happened and I don't want to take advantage of that but fair is fair, there has to be some reward. I suggested an automatic FixYa for supplying a Tip and then allow us to police the Tips and report abuse.

Anyway, thanks for filling me in on the details. I did notice Ginko is not doing much if anything right now. Maybe he's addressing the needs in his life and not using FixYa as an excuse to avoid them.

Meant to add after reading the Chicks Blog that I agree that you have definetly got a few roosters on your hands, Splinty for one has my money on it being a rooster.

It will be pretty noisey. We have a neighbor with a rooster and I've considered going on a mission at 4am to grab me some Capon.

What you gonna do with those roosters? Eat them while they're still young and tender? I was sorry to see you sold a few chicks but I can understand why, if you're gonna have too many eggs on hand. I always loved pickled eggs. I never did digest them well so I spent a lot of time outside working in the garden.

Good luck on your new job. It is ironic to say the least. It should have you dog tired for awhile.

We have a saying that's not contemporay to the States. It says to, oh heck just drew a blank while I was thinking about it. I hate it when that happens. Something along the lines of instad of killing them find a better solution like selling them to the Chinese. I've had and like Peking Duck where the carcass is dried out/aged and served 'as is'. I can tell if I'm getting the real thing by the look on the wait staff's face when I order.I tell them, "The real thing." Which I end up geting. Besides the foul breath and the smell/taste of dead meat, it's great. It just reminds me of Vietnam a bit too much, not the dish, it's the smell. But D.a.m.n., that is tender meat.

My friend, well his wife actually, makes a fairly good amount of Christmas money selling those eggs in season. Those egges have personally kept m cholesterol way down below the average normal high for rmy age group. It baffles them all. besides that, I have this litttle gift, where my sodium blood levels are low, below low normal and doctors at our VA hospital system freak out. I got someone to state to me I wouldn't have hardening of the arteries. That was my dendist, now that I think of it. Poor bastard.... seriously ill and charging more to over his health inusrance, but for all I know he's got cancer or something.

In my case, I have low Vitamin D, Vitamin B-12 and am anemic with enlarged red blood cells that are premature. Still, I have no bleeing out of my colon.

Look, best of luck in this new phase of the chicks growing and your new job. I just started acting as Secretary of our Regional Planning Comission. It doesn't run me ragged and its only about 12 hours a meeting (the work that is). And, I am to get a pay raise, thanks in part to my predessor screwing things up; but good.

What are the most common venting problems for toilets?

What all that means is the sewage pipe going to the street is getting clogged so either snake it with 50 foot snake or go buy so Drain-O (60 ounce bottle costs about $9) and pour 1/5 in toilet and wait 10 minutes then pout 1/5 in Bathroom sink & wait 10 minutes. Keep do that until 60 ounce bottle is empty. Let this stay in pipes for couple hours and your toilet will double flush now its clean with no corrosion, hair, cooking oil, and other debris.

How to install hansgrohe toilet brush

This model has a bracket that will mount to the wall using two screws and plastic anchors. Then the brush holder will snap into place on this bracket. There will be a hole in the bottom of the holder that will look like a set screw but this is only a push pin. It is spring activated and not threaded. To remove it you simply push up on this pin and pull the holer off the wall bracket. If you need further help feel free to contact Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455. One side of the toilet seat has come loose and can be partially lifted

It'll take getting down on your hands and knees in front of a toilet, but oh well. :-) Look beneath the side that is loose. There will be a threaded plastic bolt coming down from the top of the toilet to below where you are looking. On this threaded bolt there is a nut that needs to be tightened. Reach up and tighten it as tight as you can with your fingers. To make it even tighter, use a pair of pliers... then just snug it firmly. For ease in getting it off another time (e.g. should you want to replace the seat cover), I suggest first taking the nut OFF. Then take plumbers silicone tape (found in the plumbing section at any hardware store; it looks like white thin, thin tape) and wrap the bolt with it. Note: you need to take pull the bolt out completely to do this. After wrapping it with silicone tape, insert it back into the hole, and then twist the nut back on; snugging-up with a pair of pliers. This will keep the nut from working itself off, and will make the nut come off easy should you ever desire. Good luck.... :-)

Blue screen on desktop

The blue screen typically occurs when something causes your system to become unstable. If it's the first time it has happened, turn your computer off by holding in the power button and then turn it back on.

If the error occurs again, write down what the error message says and post that information here so we can troubleshoot your problem. Also mention if it happens only when using a specific program or device.

Hopefully it was just a one-time error and your system will work normally once you reset it.
