Question about Philips 60PP9202 60" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
May have blown your convergence, does it look like all 3 colors are hourglass or is it just one. If all 3 are bad and it is on the sides it may be a pincushon problem, I dont think you have an adjustment problem I think you have a part failure. If this set is older than about 5 years old it may be starting to have issues with the CRT coolant and the blue may be getting blury, the blue and green will need to be changed also. I would definitly call someone on this to make sure that you get all your bases covered as Fluid is conductive and can cause all kinds of issues up to fire hazzard. (of course that is if it is leaking, and that could be what caused your hourglass issue.)

Are all 3 colors warped or is it just one, I know you adjusted the convergence, but being bowed in at top and bottom sounds like vertical convergence is still out, these have a tendancy to blow out the convergence amps, and some times a few resistors, like I said you can usually still adjust some of the information for the convergence but there will be probably in your case and typically one color on the vertical that wont adjust up or down, could be red, green, or blue, all I can think of for a vertical bow at top and bottom, sounds like your problem.
I guess that depends upon what you mean by adjusting the colors, the convergence looks like a checkerboard pattern on the screen and you use a cursor to go cross point to crosspoint to adjust the lines together, one color will not adjust up or down (vertical direction), the other two will, if this is the case you will need replacement Amps and most of the time that will fix it. (Plus running the convergence to touch up.)

Actually I adjusted the blue and red and the color looks fine now, it's just the pictuire is warped at the top and the bottom. The tv is only about 3 years old.
I can only adjust blue and red. Except for the bow all the colors look fine.
Is verticle convergence different then adjusting the colors?
On mine you can only adjust red and blue. I did that and the colors look good, but the top and bottom of the tv screen look like your looking into the bottom of a glass, but strangely enough the color looks good even where its bowed.
