Question about Zanussi 18 in. DA4342 Free-standing Dishwasher
I've misplaced the instruction book so although I know where the rinse aid goes, how you actually put it in and to what number do you point the arrow (presumably based on water hardness in area) ???
a 6ya Repairman can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

that dial with numbers is the flow rate for the rinse aid, just to the side of that there should be a little hole, it maybe under the flap where you put the powder, open the door fully, open the flap, find the little hole and pour rinse aid in there it should only hold about 1 to 200ml ( a small cup full? ) the dial should be set about halfway hope i have helped if so rate me please

The dispenser will take about 6 oz of rinse aid if completely empty. It will only need filled every couple months depending on how often you do dishes.
If you are getting poor drying performance or spotting use a rinse aid that is called 'Turbo Dry'.
The arrow is how much rinse will dispense each load. Start out near the center, if you see spotting or turn it up slightly and try another load.
