best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: asus barebone - vintage ae1

the only thing that some people over look is that normally the semperon chip has it's own power supply from the psu to the motherboard and not like the older athlon where they were powered by the zif socket, apologies if this is not the case, as you are obviously converse with pc's. The only other problem could be that the boards bios chip is faulty, iv'e had this if ive overstressed the boards fitting hardware, although this may not be in your case as most of it is already fitted, or the board is shorting on the case somewhere.

SOURCE: Is there a sound driver for windows xp pro as the

Usually, you get the drivers for XP, Vista, etc. The XP version should be fine enough for you. If you are not able to get your audio even after installing the driver, then the issue could be something else. If you are able to see the speaker ICON on your task-bar, then this means that the sound is enabled.

Sometimes my asus wont turn on properly

Did you check ALL the parts on the computer and make sure that EVERYTHING is plugged in? If not, be sure to do that. If this problem is still occurring, make sure that all the parts are fully functional and are not broken. If you don't know how to tell if they are broken, I recommend going to a tech support store and having them check it out for you. Hope this helps!

Make sure the cmos setup is set to try booting from the CDROM. There are various methods to access cmos setup...but usually you need to press either the Delete key, or F10 or F12 right after turning on the power.

If it won't boot from the CDROM, the problem is is more likely to be in the power supply or motherboard than the hard drive.
