Removed thermostat due to over heating, water was not circulating in radiator. but now it is leaking by the water pump

if leaking under water pump its a weep hole or bearing to water pump (pump gone bad) if leaking above where thermostat was gasket leak but if overheating was original problem more than likely water pump was and is your problem

When trying to circulate i have alot of bubbles and it won't pick up the water to circulate it

THERE IS A SUCTION LEAK COULD BE .. PUMP LID, JANDY VALVE OR CRACK AND OR LEAKING PVC .. YOU CAN USE ELECTRICAL TAPE TO DO EACH JOINT ON THE PVC.. START FROM THE PUMP AND WORK BACK AS FAR AS YOU CAN ON THE SUCTION LINE, WATCH THE BASKET FOR THE BUBBLES TO STOP, WHEN THEY DO THAT IS THE JOINT THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED..ALWAYS PRIME THE PUMP WITH WATER AFTER A PUMP REPAIR.. The machine takes water and a minute later empties it out again with an error code E1. I opened it to see if any leaks anywhere as the diagnostic page puts this down to leaking pipe, but no leak found...

Hi salim talati,

The E1 you are seeing means Water Level in Drum lowering, this is likely a reduction in speed of the impeller on the Circulation Pump, which is responsible for pushing the water to the Spray arms.

It will have to be replaced, as it is a common spare that has to be replaced on L.G Dishwashers (lifetime expectancy: 12 - 18 Months) - Not very expensive.

Usually is about 20%-25% the price of a new Dishwasher. The Circulation pump is fitted to the sump. Part Number: 5859DD9001A or 5859ED1001A (Depending which one is in stock)

Because if you put the thermostat at 300m water does not circulate when the thermostat is new

So you changed the thermostat?
Water will not circulate while engine is cold. As it reaches normal temp it should open and circulate. If it is overheating when warmed up, and still not circulating, then either the thrmostat is bad or wrong type, or it was installed wrong and somthing is blocking it.
One other thing possible is the water pump is broken, but usually when pump is broke, it leaks, from the back of the pump.
You could check the belt is correctly driving the water pump.

My home has a steam boiler that supplies heat for the 1st and 2nd Floors. There is a hot water system from the boiler with an InLine Armstrong circulator pump that supplies heat to the basement. The pump...

Yes, the manufacturer should have a parts kit for replacing the orings and seals..it's probably leaking right where the motor meets the impeller...there should be a seal inside there...the rebuild kit should have a blow-up diagram to assist you in changing parts

97 Landcruiser. It overheats, and the water does not seem to be circulating. (No pressure or water flow through upper and lower hoses). Is this a water pump? I always thought water pumps leaked and...

Before throwing a waterpump at it, try a thermostat. If that sticks shut you'll get no circulation and overheating. A way to test, pull thermostat and TEMPORARILY run it without thermostat.I stress temporarily and just for test. You should see water circulating through radiator then. If not then you know waterpump is bad.

Can a bad water pump cause other things to not work properly? like the heat? and will it over heat?

Yes That is exaxtly what will happen, If the water pump is not pumping the antifreeze throught the system then not enough hot water will get to the heater core to give you heat inside the cabin and also not enough hot water will get to the radiator to get cooled off thus the overheating. Hope this helps.

OVERHEATING..THERMOSTAT OR WATER PUMP? M REG ESCORT.1600

dear friend:i think we should start with pressure testing the system for water leaks,if there is leaks you will loose pressure,if you reach working temp feel the top and bottom radiator hose, they should be the same temp,if not then the thermostat is faulty,if you got poor circulation then it can be the waterpump or the radiator is blocked, check airflow threw the radiator, check radiatorcap pressure,
