SOURCE: Filter on indesit washing machine

Push panel right or left side. Unscrew or turn anti-clock wise, according to your model. Be prepared for some water. Pull this out and clean, refit carefully. Of course it is meant to be removed and cleaned periodically, according to usage. Rate me pl.

SOURCE: I've just moved house and my machine is not

Hello Friend, I think your machine will work properly if you add a water line splitter. You would connect to the single cold water tap and on the other end you would have two water hoses . Connect one hose to the cold water inlet of your washer and then connect the other hose to the hot water inlet. You can get these at Home Depot. Happy to help, Tim.

SOURCE: Lint Filter in Whirlpool Agitator washing Machine

I have a regular top loader and the lint filter is on the underside of the inner tub. You have to remove the inner tub to get to it. You might be able to find a service manual explaining this at appliancejunk.com.

Finally ended up in AU ... No luck.

Does the Whirlpool, top loading lsr6332kq1 have a lint filter?

I will suggest you steps to check whether your washing machine has a lint filter. Follow the instructions below.
1)Turn off the washing machine and open the lid or door if you have a front-loading appliance.
2)Place your hand on the upper lip of a front-loading or top-loading washer tub and feel around the circumference for a flat tab. Pull out this tab, which is the handle for the lint filter. If you cannot find a tab on a top-loading washer, continue troubleshooting.

3)Unscrew the cap on the top of the agitator in a top-loading washer. The agitator is the center cone inside the appliance.

4)Pull the lint filter out of the agitator and rinse under cold, running water to clean.
5)Slide the filter into position as far as it will go. Replace the agitator cap if your appliance uses a lint filter in the agitator.

My whirpool WFS1071BD front load washing machine leaking when spinning

During drain and spin only A washer that leaks only during the spin cycle often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find.

The washing machine has an odor like old wet rags. I have a Duet Whirlpool front load washer.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France @15:47 Mon afternoon.

Two possible causes-
1) If your waste water goes into the same u-bend as your sink, it could be that the sink u-bend needs cleaning/clearing, otherwise-
2) it could be that the washing machine lint tray/filter needs cleaning out.

for 1) have the u-bend cleaned!
for 2) Take off the front bottom cover which is either held in by some plastic screws which probably require turning 90 degrees to undo, or just pulls off. More likely the first option!
NOW- ENSURE MACHINE IS UNPLUGGED FROM ITS SUPPLY AND THAT YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE (to put underneath the cover area) AND/ OR LOADS OF RAGS AT HAND!
Once off you should be able to see the turnable lint tray/filter cover which you should unscrew. Water time probably.
The filter may or may not be attached to the cover- remove as necessary and clean.
If your water supply is 'hard', i.e. lots of calcium, it is always a good plan to regularly use a sachet of proprietary anticalc powder/liquid to clean the machine. Although you might use anticalc with your washing fluid/powder, there is none in the rinse water so calc can still form.
I de-calc ours about every 3 or so months as we live in a hard water area.
Hope all of this cures your problem.
Best of luck,

John C

Lint will not come off clothes when washed in my older whirlpool front load washer

Clean the pump filter screen.... Remove bottom front panel see filter housing located next to pump unscrew cap by turning counter clockwise... Clean/remove debris located inside(place shallow pan under housing and remove cap slowly so you can reinstall if pan get full)... Be prepared for some water to leak out when cap is removed(could be up to several gallons depending on how clogged up it is) .

I need to clean the lint filter on my whirlpool duet front loading washing mashine. where is it located and how can I get to it?

Its not really a lint filter ,it catches everything that gets down to the drain pump. You need to remove the lower panel on the front of the unit(three small screws one on each side and one in the center down at the floor) pull out bottom of panel to axcess the drain pump. MAKE sure to unplug before working inside.drain pump will have two hoses running to it ,to clean out the filter (trap) turn the cap facing you to the left to remove some water will drain out have a towel to catch reinstall everying in reverse order .sounds like a lot but is actually very easy after the first time
