AnUSB cable can be plugged into a n USB charger. The charger has a USB port that the cable plugs into, it is usually compliant with most USB charging cables. If your charger has a fixed cable, i.e. for a single make, you cannot fit a USB charging cable.
Most computers now also have the charging facility even when the computer is switched off.
The problem of your getting usb charger can be solved by this site. This is not a usb charger but also a charger of multi ports. It has 6 ports each port is providing 2.4 A what is so demandfull for any kind of usb charger. Go and check it out. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00MGJAXC8/
I assume it is on the black screen with the empty battery. If it doesnt come up with the little lightning bolt to show it is charging then it is likely the cable or charger are dead. try laptop USB charging port instead. Note I have had faulty cables that would lock up each USB port tried until I rebooted. try a friends charging rig that you know works. Another thing to check, is pocket fluff in the charge port which may prevent you inserting charging cabel correctly.
USB connection cables comprising of ports on computer telecommucnations devices are versatile outlets to managing multimedia. First the USB port on the device makes device to device connection where resoruces can be shared among several function requests. Second, the USB port on device least allows to derive power charge from another device only has to be attained from power outlet. For example, while a device is plugged into another device for media resources sharing is least like to attain power charging simultaneously. First use the USB port to power charge from an outlet to attain required functioning status. Circumspectively, the devices that have USB ports has several functions either as media resource sharing also for power circuit charging only each separarete process is attained where it is impossible to power charge a device while using the same port to derive functionality.
It may be past the point of turning on. If this is the case, if you connect it through the USB cable to your computer for a little while, it can get a small charge.
devices have the ability to "trickle charge" from a USB port on a PC or
Mac. This means that it receives a very small amount of charging from
the USB port, even if it is not connected to its AC charger. If your
device is capable of this function, the charging time will be
significantly longer for a trickle charge (depending on the power
rating of the PC USB port). However, the device may not charge at all
on an unpowered USB hub (or for example off off a keyboard).
If you can then power it on afterwards, connect it to the regular power charger.
