I have a Zanussi model ZWD1262S with no manual.
My machine has now stoped working and an error message of E20 comes up on the machine.
Can you please tell me what this means and what do I have to do to get my machine working again?

Re: Error message on washing machine E20
E20 is "A problem with water draining" Solutions: The drain hose may be squashed or kinked the drain pump may be blocked or possible your filter is totally blocked. Clean out the filter
everything will work again. Put a large bowl under the filter as you
unscrew it; a fair amount of water could be there. Good luck. Please rate the solution if accepted, also do post comments in case of any doubts.

Error code e20 means a clogged drain pump. This might have happened due to small clips, pins, coins, etc being stuck in the pump. Please note that error e20 can also occur when the drain pump is not pumping fast enough or when the pump fails. To fix the issue you'll need to check the drain pump. Tilt the machine on its side and remove the 3 screws and 2 wires that hold the pump in place. Hope this helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
The error message E20, simply means the filter plastic cage which is located behind the trap door bottom right side of the machine is full and needs to be cleaned out.
All the fibres and lint gets trapped in here and prevents the waste water from escaping, hence Error code E20.
Somebody suggested to me that there is a condensation tray at the back that has become blocked. He said to take the back of the washing machine off and at the bottm right hand corner there is the condensation tray. This will need de-fluffing!! I haven't tried it yet but am also looking for answers!! Let me know if you come across any other info.
Check water "forreign object trap". It's under the lid at the bottom of the machine. First drain water by pulling out the hose and pull out the plug. Then unscrew the trap. Have had this E20 error twice. First it was two coins there, next it was a big paperclip. Have worked fine ever since.
