When I turn on my computer, it starts with a white screen, so I have to turn it off again and start it up while pushing the screen with my hand back. After that, the screen fuzzes and gets messy and I have to adjust to a certain angle to make it normal. What problems are occuring and what are solutions that will help?
SOURCE: Acer Laptop Screen Flickering
The flickering screen indicates that it is a backlight problem with either a faulty inverter or inverter connection problem. The inverter is usually located at the bottom edge of the LCD screen, and may have one or two connectors (one for the video info. and one for the inverter power or a combined connector) attached to the motherboard under the case near the top edge of the keyboard near the hinges. Reseating these connectors may solve your problem.

Go to www.acer.com, choose Service and Support, choose Driver Download, choose Drivers & Downloads, select Product Line Notebook, select Aspire 4315, click Search.
The above should get you to here :

Click on "Flash BIOS v1.13 " which is the latest BIOS for the 4315.
Follow the instructions to download and extract the files.
In order to Run the Vv2-113.exe file, you will need to right-click on it and choose "Run as administrator"
Make sure your battery is fully charged before updating a BIOS and do NOT power off the laptop during the update process.
This seems to have fixed most of the white screen problems on the 4315 that I am working on. The Fn-F4 "standby" and power button (or FN key) "resume" process described earlier is worth remembering because I have still had a couple of the white screens with the latest BIOS. Both times seemed to be when the screen saver was trying to start (lots better than during the boot-up!), so I have changed from the Acer default screen saver to something simpler hoping that the change makes the problem less frequent.

The CCFL lamp has been partially damaged and could fail completely any time.
Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashs on red/pink and off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp.
Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.

You'll have to live with it. It's taken damage, it's not repairable, it's only replaceable. My Latitude screen was replaced after only 2 1/2 years.

It is possible that the video cable is chafing in the point where it passes through the hinge assembly. Try reseating the video cable, if that doesn't help, the replacing the LCD cable assembly is the likely fix.
