HE3t leaves water in drum after the wash cycle is complete. Already checked the drain clean out...still leaves water in the drum.

Since we are working on the drain side of things only 2 things can happen to not get the water out of your tub-1 the pump isn't working, something stuck in it- 2 you have blockage which we know is not in the trap-check conection to the tub and the pump and all discharge hoses-cheers Denny

The tub wont drain

Now for the repairs -

1. Remove all the clothing that is in the washer.

2. Remove all the water you can via a siphon hose technique.

3. Remove drain line from its drain and put it in a shallow bucket on floor and drain out whatever water it may have. Turn off cold and hot water feeds and remove drain lines. Drain water from them.

Now for the hard work - a helper is probably needed. You may wish to take digital photos of things before you take them apart so you get them back together properly later (I strongly recommend you do this). Get the tool box, a flash light, and an extension light out - you will need them.

4. Tip washer over on its side - and watch for and collect any water that it may have still in it. Remove the drain hose from the water pump (the drain hose connects to the pump). Remove belt from water pump. Remove water pump and take it apart. Make sure nothing is blocking the pump itself (a laundry item may be there); reassemble pump and make sure it spins freely at the belt pulley. Check the drain line from tub to pump - and make sure it is clean. You usually have to also remove the solenoid valve that is opened to permit draining as well - just follow the line to the tub. Make sure solenoid valve feed line has nothing blocking it. Once the entire drain line, drain solenoid valve, and pump are clear and clean, reconnect everything properly. Return washer to upright position. Connect water hoses and drain line.

It will wash but when its time for the first draining out the water to spin it stops

Three things to inspect are:
  1. Clogged drain hose - cause water to back up to the pump and shut down
  2. Clogged drain tube - usually occurs when the drain hose is attached to a drain tube that empties out into the homes sewer system. Just like a clogged drain, water will back up all the way through the drain hose into the pump and shut down.
  3. Clogged or bad drain pump - Many times, debris left in pockets will work it's way into the drain pump. Over time, enough debris (paper, coins etc) could lodge itself into the pump. When the machine tries to empty or spin out, the pump becomes overwhelmed and shuts down. Sometimes, you may even see a puddle of water appear under the washer due to a clogged pump. This can also happen if the pump itself is worn out and no longer working up to specifications.
Best of luck with your repair.

Machine doesn't drain water

The washing machine not draining water. This problem is related to few possibilities. 1) The drain pump is got loose to the drain hose. check the connection from drain hose to drain pump. 2) The drain is blocked by any thing.Like cloth or any thing like metallic nails or coils etc etc. 3) The drain hose is got blocked./The drain hose is not letting the water to enter the drain pump. In most of the cases the drain pump has to be removed and checked for any kind of blockages. This will clear the fault. ----------- Keep updated with any more queries.Thanks,.

The water wont drain out of the washer everything else works but the water wont drain

you need to check the drain pump for a restriction.
if you have a wet dry shop vac attach it to the end of the drain pump and remove all the water.then look at the hoses that are attatched to the drain pump remove them and look for any obstuction.
if you do not find any thing then you might have a faulty drain pump make sure to check the elctrical connections.'
there might be a problem with the door lock but at this time dont think so

Wont drain water

the first thing to check is the drain pump.there could be a foreign object blocking the pump.
use a shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose if the water comes out freely then the pump is stuck with some thing small ( could also be bad ) if the water does not drain easy there is a piece of clothing blocking the pump

Water Won't drain fro the dishwasher model Blanco bfdw650s

If you "Lower" the hose to the bucket and it "drains" you are just using gravity to remove the water. The pump may be helping a little but if you raise the hose up and the water stops coming out, it's a good indication that the pump is bad. Unless the place you are attaching the hose to is plugged up, you need a new pump or a new impellor. Since the motor is good, try to get a replacement impellor, that the thing that moves the water. One other thing, you did say how well it washes the dishes? If the impellor is bad, it probably doesn't.

You,ve done a good job the first time the pump fail MikieM. You can do it again. We sometimes forget to empty our pocket. Some small metal things could have gotten into the pump...could be other hard foreign object. Good luck.
