Do I have to take apart the whole machine to fix the drain pump on my LG WM3455HW washer/dryer combo? I can't seem to find any instructions on this model.

Lucky You. The newer models of LG Combo units WM34xx have the filter on the right hand side and the pump can be changed through the bottom panel.

Washer won't turn on

Lets see here I read that you have three separate problems. Uhhhh
1) Ball Bearings
2) Hard reset
3) Going on
4) Serial number
Now I'm going to give you a method to start with, complete, then move to next issue.
FIRST!!!!! Get you owners manual and turn to the LG page for Customer Support. Now, if you sent your Registration card then They will have the serial Number. Other places back of machine, Tub opening inside/behind door. Now "If" you're having ALL these problems there is a chance here that you need a NEWER/NEW one under warranty to be replacing the machine you have.
Turning the Machine Off/On by pulling the Plug (ALL THE TIME!!!) Is a symptom of the Computer Board (Brains) has a fault (broken) and needs to be replaced. These are VERY expensive $300-$700 depending on model, yr bought, And if this is the issue and you have no warranty left. Buy another LG ERRRRR! Stop! Stop!
When Mine went after 8.5 yrs I had the same problem as you. I bought a "Used" Whirlpool (Commercial Grade) for $150. I have had THAT machine for 16 yrs! No problems AT All. So look at Top Loaders Whirlpool (Duh!), Maytag, or Samsung.
To "Reset" your machine you disconnect from power for 30 minutes then plug in/
Ball bearing are Not on these machines, they use a thing called a Stader. Which is a MAJOR replacement issue. Finally...Who told you that you had these problems?
Hope it works for you, please let us Know! We are here to assist you!

How to Replace Bearing Ball on a LG Front Load Washer??? The bearing ball is leaking water and makes loud noise. need to fix problem please help.

The rear half of the outer wash drum (which contains the rear bearing and tub shaft seal) needs to be replaced. On a 1 - 10 scale, this rates a difficulty rating of about an 8. An experienced appliance tech can do it in about 2 hours, and hit you up for about $500. I do not suggest this as a do it yourself repair. Did you know that the new LG machines use a balance ring to make them much smoother running? (Hint: It may be wiser to replace the machine.)

I have LG washer and dryer and its making loud noise, specially when its spinning. Do you have any suggestion. this washer is only 4 yrs old

The most common reason for a loud noise on spin cycle is that water has got into the bearings and forms rust. The ball bearings are no longer smooth. Hence the noise!..Probably the most common F/L washer reason for demise. If the inner bowl is loose and 'floppy', it would be for the same reason.....Overuse of detergent will do it every time!.....Sorry.......Nomess

LG Senseclean washer dryer combo won't dry

The problem is likely due to lint build up in the condensing unit. I found a solution here:

I also had a softball size ball of wet, packed lint in the condensing unit. I found that the unit can be cleaned without tools or dis-assembly by:
  1. draining the water.
  2. laying the washer on it's back.
  3. removing the hose clamp on the rubber bellows that connects the drum to the condensing unit (right hand side of machine).
  4. digging the lint wads out with your fingers and a small screwdriver.
Happy drying!
