Hi , My name is Dean, You wanted more information on my Amp. It is a Technich's sa-gx470 class h+ and all i can tell you is when I turn my stero on it will start clicking and lose the sound then come back on and then go through the same thing again. The clicking sounds like it is coming from the right side where there are four round fuse like cyclinder's. . It look's fairly clean inside and one of the fuse like canister's says 85 degree c on the top of it. If you can't help me maybe you could tell me who icould take it to. Thank You

Hmm, I didn't refer to any specific amp. Did you remove ALL the cables and see if it stays on? If it still shuts off, it is an internal problem and you need to have it repaired. If not then follow my original suggestion.

Have you tried disconnecting all the speakers and inputs and turn it on?
If it still shuts off you have an internal problem, if it stays on, connect one item at a time until it shuts off and that is the problem.

Goulds pump model BGR75 won't reset. Any tips.

If the motor runs but keeps tripping the overload, the motor is bad or the motor is under a big load. Does it pump water? If not, check the impeller and see if there is anything wrong with it. If it does pump water and the motor trips overload, the only thing left to check is the overload. Check the motor's amp draw and if within specs, replace overload. If amps are too high, replace motor.

Why the fuse blow

Possible causes...
1. Your power wires into the amp are reversed
2. Something in the amp is shorted
3. Your sub is shorted
4. Your sub is incorrectly hooked up and is showing a lower load than the amp can handle.

Check resistance on speakers. And make sure your not overloading amp with incorrect ohm load for speakers.. You raise and lower speaker ohms by wiring them in a series or parallel. It's a good idea to make sure your power cable sizes are correct and can handle the voltage & amperage.

Stator and reg keep going out

If your stator and regulator keep failing, it's generally caused by an overload. Have you added any extra lights or electrical gear to your bike? If so, you may be overloading your charging system. If your bike is equipped with a 42 amp system and when you've got all your stuff running it's drawing 38 amps, your charging system is working to almost capacity to provide the current that is being demanded. This causes the components to run hot and they fail. My advice to analyze your current needs on the bike and look for a system with higher output capacity or take some of the current demanding equipment off the bike. Cycle Electrics builds a "three phase" alternator kit that works well. I've installed several of them and never had a problem. http://www.cycleelectricinc.com/

Led's don't power and there seems to be a pulsing coming from inside the unit, even after it's powered off the pulsing continues but gets more and more faint. This sub worked fine a day ago,...

Likely the amp blew and the power supply is being overloaded and keeps trying to power on but finds an overload and continues as the power goes away. This is NOT a DIY unless your are electronically adept.

Won't play keeps saying overload

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and
operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by
the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient
ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan
(if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris
from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection
cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the
cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections
and try it 'naked'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not
come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on
tech.

Check for loose speaker connections at the speaker as another possible root cause for
intermittent shutdown.
