Question about Televison & Video
You did not post the model but it is most likely the power supply board. It is fuse protected and it has parts on it that can fail prematurely. The problem is that to have a tech come out and check it costs you a service charge. Those big screen televisions are hard move and if you want to avoid the charges, you can take it in yourself. Otherwise you are going to have to service it yourself. This can be a daunting task. If you want to post the model I can assist you more. You can just replace the power board for cost or you can save a lot of money if you can solder and want to replace parts at the component level.
