You did not post the model but it is most likely the power supply board. It is fuse protected and it has parts on it that can fail prematurely. The problem is that to have a tech come out and check it costs you a service charge. Those big screen televisions are hard move and if you want to avoid the charges, you can take it in yourself. Otherwise you are going to have to service it yourself. This can be a daunting task. If you want to post the model I can assist you more. You can just replace the power board for cost or you can save a lot of money if you can solder and want to replace parts at the component level.

Apparently you need update 10.1 to work on a 64 bit system. Check this out: http://community.nuance.com/blogs/dragon/archive/2009/03/25/dragon-preferred-and-standard-10-1-updates-for-vista-64-available-in-english.aspx

Vizio HDTV E3DB420VX wont turn on

If your power indicator isn't lighting up, you don't have your 5vdc standby power. You're most likely looking at a power supply issue. Did this happen after a T-storm???

I have a RCA D52W20 rear projection HDTV. This TV was purchased in2005. I cancelled my cable and I just hooked up a digital antenna but the TV isn't finding any channels. What do I need to do? I was...

HDTV indicates the number of lines that are shown by the TV. (HD means that at least 720 lines can be displayed in a given picture.) To receive OTA signals, you need an ATSC tuner (digital) of sufficient power (with a clear path to the transmitter) these days. The RCA D52W20 was released in 2002 and only has an NTSC (analog tuner). You will need a digital-to-analog converter to receive OTA TV (unless any low power analog stations remain in your area).

Please note that the basic digital-to-analog converters that were available with the government coupon back in 2009 were SD (480i lines of pixels used) units. HD d-t-a converters exist but are more expensive.

I hope this helps.

(the phrase "digital antenna" is meaningless; check with tvfool.com or antennaweb.org for the direction of local transmitters. TVfool.com will give more information on the type of antenna (indoor, outdoor, amplifier) that you will need to receive channels in your area. Antennaweb assumes an external antenna but is very conservative in the stations that it will indicate that you can receive. Antennas are given a color rating based on how far away the transmitter can be to get a watchable signal. Since digital signals are either enough for the tuner to interpret or you get a "no signal" message, you often need a stronger signal than was needed to receive a watchable analog channel.)

I have windows xp. The game I am trying to install requires 64 bit windows version

OK, so what's your question? If you don't have 64-bit XP and you want to know how to install the game, you can't. As it says, it needs 64-bit XP, and there isn't any way to make it run otherwise. Your only option is to install the necessary operating system.

My RCA R52WH74 chassis # ITC222A wont turn on. The green power light comes on for about 10 seconds then shuts off. No picture, no sound. How do I fix it? Buying a new TV just isn't in out budget!

That model is famous for having issues with the deflection board failing. Replacing the deflection board should solve the issue. You can get replacement deflection board for the ITC222A chassis from www.tvrepairworld.com under the RCA circuit boards catagory.

Once i power on my television i get a picture for about 4 minutes. I hear a whining sound in the back of the tv and then the tv shuts off. It then powers back on and repeats the cycle again, over and over.

Very likely, the bearings on the Color Wheel have worn out and the Color Wheel assembly will need to be replaced. This is usually something that can be done by someone with a reasonable amount of technical competence, and isn't very expensive to accomplish. Many tutorials are available on YouTube, describing the process of replacing DLP projection Color Wheels.
