Question about Acer Aspire 5610-4648 Notebook
I have an Acer 5672 (Aspire) Laptop and when I switch the LT on I get nothing on my screen, although i can hear windows switching on. When I connect my LT to an external monitor I donot have this problem. What should I do and is it expensive to repair!
Laptop LCDs are not that expensive to replace. You can usually locate a monitor for any given laptop for around $100 US. The thing you have to be careful about is whether or not it is actually the fault of the LCD itself. If you can see a very faint image on the screen, you may need to replace the LCD converter circuitry. If not then you should be able to find a replacement LCD on ebay.
