Question about Thomson 29DM400 29" TV

1 Answer

Unable to get full color, imges often turns pink/orange

Images often portrayed in orange/pink tone, after a day/two I would get amazing full colour image, sound/audio is perfect. My Tv is 16months old and often left on for 14-15hrs daily but the problem started 2 months ago. I'm sure it turns pink/orange due to lack of green and yellow tones. Please help as I love my TV very much and scared to take it to a technician because I might be taken for a ride/overcharged.

Hi!
Go into the menu settings and check whether it has a warmth tint function o, if on then turn it off and adjust the settings accordingly.

If this doesn't work then Maybe a power surge has damaged the box. Try using a different scart/hdmi cable which you know works... it could be a damaged wire.
If not, unplug the box and leave it with nothing connected for 24 hours to get rid of the static and try again. Thanks Rylee

If this doesn't help then what i know is that the convergence circuit going bad. it will be hard to say till it goes all the way out. now as far as you doing a repair... i would say if you solder very good and can use a meter?? then you can do a repair. if not you will need a repairman and a cost will range around 300.00.

You have to change stck ics of your tv, Look up for stk IC's (look part no.) on e-bay or amazon.

  • Step Two: Clean the problem cartridge contacts
    1. Gather the following items to clean the cartridge and carriage:
      • Clean distilled water. Use bottled or filtered water if distilled water is not available. Tap water can contain contaminants that damage the cartridge.
      • Clean cotton swabs or any soft, lint-free material that will not stick to the cartridges (coffee filters work well).
      • Sheets of paper or a paper towel to rest the cartridge on during cleaning.
    2. Open the cartridge access door and wait until the carriage is idle and silent.
    3. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
    4. Remove the cartridge and place it on a piece of paper with the nozzle plate facing up.

How to Rejuvinate Your Motorbike Leathers

So here's how to. Its actually real simple but can be time consuming if doing a colour change.

Can be used for your old faded set, ones you've had a slide in or even if your looking for a colour change.

    1. Go to any shoe repair shop that sells Leather spray dye's in lots of colors.

    2. Also you need the leather deglazer.

    3. Prep leathers, clean, dry and deglaze the area you want to color.

    4. Mask the area you want to color , this is what is time consuming. it gets real messy.
    Pic of lowside damage

    5. Apply dye roughly 4 or 5 coats (if changing colours, less if just touching up). This takes awhile cuz it take long to dry inbetween coats and work on one area at a time.
    Pic of Repair (still fresh)

    6. When all finished let the Leathers sit to fully dry and cure for 4 days to a week if possible.

And now for the all important pics.
This is what the suit looked like before

Hi. I'm trying to print some images but the colours seem to turn dull and washed out, going towards a yellow-ish tone. I have a Canon MP460 and the colour ink is full whist the black is half full. Is there...

    Good day

Was wondering if you are using refills or orginal catridges, if so, get a printer head cleaning kit, so you can clean the head of the printer ink feeder,

Problem with colour printing. Orange and green

Wow, that's a really old EPSON printer. The life expectancy of a EPSON printer is just three years, after that, the printer wouldn't work because of the clogged permanent printing head. The authorized service center is unable to repair it because the spares are no longer supplied.
Throw it to a recycling center.

I bought new ink black and color but i try to print in pink and i can't how can i print in pink

    Hi alexgallo01
Do you get other colours except pink?
If that is the case, reasons could be:
    1. there is not enough RED or BLUE in the cartridge.
    2. you haven't selected pink colour on the text or images you are trying to print.
If you are typing a document highlight the text you want in pink, and choose PINK color for the font.
Then print the document. The printer will use color closest to your choice, if it does not have the exact color.
    Hope this will help.
If it help you, please give a rating
