SOURCE: Ice maker bin indicator arm is stuck in the bin is full position

You should be able to move it gently to the lower position.  If it doesn't want to move don't force it.  Try shutting the ice maker off in case the arm is frozen in the up position.  After the ice maker defrosts a bit try again to move the arm gently.

SOURCE: ice maker overfills and leaks into the ice bin.

I have had a similar problem several times. What I have found is that the ice tray coating has begun to flake off. Then, the ice sticks or partially dumps. Next more ice builds up and when the valve opens the water runs over the partially emptied tray and spills into the bin making "icebergs". The remedy is to replace the tray or if that is not possible, then, the whole icemaker. In fact, I have one down stairs to put in tomorrow. They don't seem to last more than about 4 years or so.

SOURCE: know how to put the ice bin latch and spring back together

I had the same problem. When you put the spring back on the little arm towards the button, use a mini screwdriver or something to pull the spring back and pop the latch part back in the indented spots. Then, it will seem stuck but you just put some pressure on the curved side of the latch - opposite from the button and it will "pop" back into place.

Kenmore coldspot model 10657282791 ice maker dispenser crusher frozen

Hello,

When you say "frozen" do ya mean that all the ice in the storage bin is one huge block of ice??
if yes all the ice is frozen together,that is caused by a malfunctioning water inlet valve that is not fully closing yet stays opena wee bit allowing water to seep into the storage bin and freezing all the ice together. To repair that the water inlet valve would need to be replaced. Its part number 2188542 it could be picked up at your local appliance parts store or online at;
searspartsdirect.com
apwagner.com
partselect.com
apdepot.com

Kenmore Coldspot Ice Maker Modle #106 56622500 I

these have to be in correctly to lock back in and allow the unit to function. Try removing the bin again and be sure there isn't any small pieces of ice trapped anywhere. Also make sure there aren't any broken pieces from the bin. Hope this helps. Good luck.

My ice freezes together!

Do you mean the ice cubes are too large to be individual cubes and come out as a lump? The water is filled by a timed fill so if the fill solenoid stays open a little and drips water into the cube tray it will have more water than normal. I guess I'm not sure if you mean the ice cubes are stuck together in the tray or are they sticking together in the holding bin area?
