Question about Husqvarna 125b Hand Held Leaf Blower

1 Answer

Husqvarna 125b stalls at high rev.

Have removed the gas tank to check for damaged fuel lines. The smaller fuel line coming from the carb looks very dark, and was just barely into the tank. It actually broke right where it enters the fuel tank while I was examining the tank. The larger fuel line going into the tank with the fuel filter at the end of it, looks in better condition, but the filter was at the bottom of the tank not attached. Again, I can't be sure if this happened while I was removing the plug, that holds the two fuel lines, from the fuel tank. The blower seem to work better at half choke than it did at no choke. I have not reassembled the unit until I get new fuel lines, or a kit that would have the filter and fuel lines. Even with the kit, I'm not sure it will have the small fuel line from the carb to the tank.

The fuel hose just throught the grommet comes from the pressure side of the primer bulb, it does not have to be very deep into the tank, it is just the return to tank hose, the hose kit withe grommet and filter is part no. 545081841

I have a psa 225 echo weed eater. The engine readily starts but will only rev up using the choke lever back and forth. No power. What's my problem?

Carb or filter
. replace fuel filter in tank while checking both pickup and return fuel lines.
remove carb and disassemble cleaning all parts with carb cleaner and some soft air blow . look for small screen its round and about 1/4 round in carb these are so small that the gas that's available gells and plugs the openings . try to use non-ethonal high octane gas and use echo 2cycle oil .

No, it is a return line to the tank from the primer. It sounds like the hoses are reversed. The fuel should flow from the tank via the main fuel line (with the filter)( sometimes the main line is smaller than the return line) to the carb, fills the carb then to the primer bulb, and from the primer bulb back to the tank. With just enough fuel in the tank to cover the fuel filter start pressing the primer bulb. Check for fuel coming out the short hose into the tank. If instead the bubbles come out the filter and the primer goes dry try reversing the lines at the carb and/or the primer bulb and try again until you get the proper flow pattern.

Gas is leaking from husqvarna 125B blower when priming

Either the return line to the tank from the primer has a hole in it, is broke, disconnected; or the diaphragms in the carb are stiff and the unit is flooding

When I prime my Husqvarna 125b the gas pours out little vent hole next to the fuel lines going into gas tank? Dont think any gas getting to carborator? What would cause this?

1. Check the pipes to the primer bubble haven't been swapped round, as it sounds like its pressurising the fuel tank.
2. Also sounds like the fuel tank vent could be damaged, this allows pressure to equalise in the fuel tank. Generally it allowa air in but not out the tank, If fuel is exiting the tank then this could have been damaged.

Replacing the gas lines form the gas tank and the line to the bulb

on my husqvarna 125b the fuel line in the tank with the filter connects to the bottom of the carb. the other line coming out from the tank connects to the bottom port on the bulb. the line from the top port of the bulb connects to the top of carb. hope this will help.
