Eureka 439az has no suction. Beater bar spins ok.

First thing I would check is it has a attachment hose, take off the bottom of the vacuum. Where the beater bar is and look for where the hose goes through the bottom of the vacuum, it should look like a piece of plastic pipe. Make sure that pipe is clear if it isn't the vacuum won't work. I had that problem before with a different vacuum, clear the clog and should take care of the issue. Also if you take the hose off and put your hand over the hose attachment piece you should feel suction, if you don't good indicator that line plugged up.

You can use your fingers to clear it out, if the hole hose is plugged, if you have a snake a or a cable tie, or some flexible use that to snake out the bottom part of the tube. It might make a mess so I'd do it outside or in the garage.

See if that is part of your problem, otherwise it has a canister to catch the dirt, make sure all the vents and ports are clear going into the canister .

No suction once hose is plugged in. If I go to another recepticle it has plenty of suction until I plug the hose in. I just bought this house and the owner was unable to help with operating manuals due to...

If it's just the one outlet, then there's probably a clog in the pipe between that outlet and the main pipe. You may be able to clear it by plugging the hose into a working outlet, placing other end to non-working outlet, and turning vacuum on. This may provide enough suction to **** out the clog.
If not, you'll probably need to use a mini plumber's snake to try to remove it.

I sucked up some toilet paper in my central vac, and not it has almost no suction. How do I remove the block?

Toilet paper shouldn't clog a central vacuum system. There was probably already something in there that caught the toilet paper and made it worse. Here is a good resource that might help:

BEAM VACUM DOSE NOT WORK GOOD BECAUSE SOMETING SUCKED IN THEIR

Check to see if you have suction at the outlet, if so
the plug is in the hose or wand. If no suction at the wall, check at the vacuum. If you have suction at the vacuum then the line from the vacuum to the outlet
that you were connected is where the plug is.
Try a plumbers snake to try to get plug out.

No suction from hose

Usually, no easy fix to clogged hoses. In order to clear an obstruction from a hose, one can try to use a small diameter dry garden hose to push the obstruction through or the clog can sometimes carefully be fished out with a manual (not a powered) plumber’s snake. ~ TTURAMBAR

Bissell carpet shampooer priblem

Something is probably clogging up the suction.
Try to snake it out with a coat hanger or similar tool.
Often, especially with shedding pets hair will clog the suction pipes.

Is there suction where the pipe hooks to the cannister? If so, then are all of the outlets without suction? Maybe the hose is plugged. If the hose is ok, and there is suction at the cannister, then **** up a small **** of paper, one for each room outlet, have a number on each piece of paper, Which ever one doesn't ,ake it thru to the cannasiter is the outlet that is plugged. You can use a plumbers snake to clean out a clogged outlet or even a clogged hose.

If the motors are running and sound ok, then there has to be suction at the outlet on the cannister. If the filter bag is old, it may be best to replace it with a new one.

We have a beam built in vacumn system ( old one) there is virtually no suction coming through the hose. I suspect some sunflower seeds were picked up and clogging it somewhere. What to do?

You need to figure out if it is the hose that is clogged, or in the piping. If in the hose, you can use a long plumbers snake to try to remove the clog. If you have no suction in none of the outlets, then I would suspect the hose, or the main pipe came loose from the cannister. Also are you sure that the cannasiter is coming on? If the blockage is in the piping, you can use the plumbers snake there also.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Not @ first, try to get a central vacuum cuff and go to each and every inlet / outlet down the basement and put the cuff in the inlet – the central vac should come on and possibly might unclog the pipe, 2nd, try taking another canister type vacuum while the central vac is running and open the inlet door and try to “pull apart the clog in the pipe” – this does work upon occasion if not you can try a plumbers snake – but be careful because the walls of the pvc pipe are thin wall and you don’t want to poke a hole in the pipe or other wise you will have to replace the pipe. The absolute last resort should be to replace the pipe if all other do not work. Feel free to contact your local vacuum dealer in your area or in the yellow pages , or contact the factory @ the phone #’s listed below:

BEAM Serenity Plus 2900 has shutdown

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. OK, there is a reset button on the unit but i think it could be that your vacuum could be clogged in the vacuum lines and that you should check all the inlets/outlets in your house with your vacuum hose - or get a vacuum cuff and go to each individual outlets and check the suction by feel - if the outlet is clogged you may have to call someone to unclogg it or by going to each oultlet the system may unclog it self -- or you can use a plumbers snake and be careful because the lines in a central vacuum are thinner than the walls in a plumbing situation or have it professionally unclogged by a priofessional. When you are using another vacuum to unclog the unit make sure the central vac is runing and to try to pull the clog apart from both directions.
