I can't hear any sound from my presario C700 notebook
I was installing Windows Media Player skin, and it said like it didn't suit my Windows Media Player. And then, suddenly, my song was stopped and it said 'bad speaker' or such. It had happened once when I updated Windows Media Player 11. And it got right when I rolledback. But, this time, it just hasn't got right yet.

First try from the Compaq Site or HP site www.compaq.com or www.hp.com . If you are unable to find the Drivers then download Driver Max software from www.drivermax.com , This software will automatically detects all the hardware present in your computer and gives links to the drivers suited for your hardware.
Reinstallations of XP sometimes do not install all of the sound files needed. Do a google search for UAA, it is Microsoft's audio file. Download it, install it and then run Windows update. The drivers for your machine should be under the Hardware section of the updates.
copy and paste the link below on the browser.....you will be redirected to compaq preasario c700 drivers page.....there you can choose the model and it will ask what operating system....if you click the operating system....you will be redirected to the drivers download page....there you can download it.....it is free of cost.....try this....it work 100%.....
