We have a howard miller grandfathers clock we got at an auction the chimes are off it over chimes. I counted 16 chimes at 12:00 one time it chimed 51 times what can I do to remedy this problem.

STEP 3 HANGING WEIGHTS Most clocks use three weights. The bottom of each weight is labeled as to its proper hanging position as you view your clock from the front. The total weight of each weight is slightly different and each WEIGHT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ITS CORRECT LOCATION FOR THE CLOCK TO OPERATE PROPERLY. Check the weights to ensure that they are tightly assembled. Ensure that each chain is on the sprocket. Hang each weight on the solid hook at the end of the chain, never on the chain links. Timing chain 96 maxima broke

Check your owner's manual for the recommended mileage for replacing your timing chain. Replacement for a Nissan Maxima is 60,000 miles.2 Locate the timing chain. Replace it if the automatic chain adjuster (also known as the tensioner) is damaged or worn.3 Release the pressure in the fuel system, drain the cooling system and disengage the negative battery cable. 4 Undo the upper radiator hose, engine drive belts, power steering pulley and pump with bracket, air duct, passenger front wheel and engine side and undercovers, front exhaust pipe, cylinder head front mounting bracket and head cover, rocker cover, distributor and distributor cap and spark plugs.5 Take off the intake manifold support and move the No. 1 piston at "Top Dead Center" (TDC) of the compression stroke.6 Disconnect the cylinder head front cover, water pump pulley, thermostat housing, upper and lower tensioner and slack side timing chain guide, idler sprocket bolt, camshaft sprocket bolts, sprockets, mounting caps and camshafts. 7 Disengage the cylinder head with the manifolds, idler sprocket shaft, upper timing chain, center crossmember, oil pan and strainer assembly, crankshaft pulley, engine front mount and bracket and the front timing cover. Remove the oil seal and unfasten the timing chain cover, idler and crankshaft sprockets and the oil pump drive spacer. 8 Unfasten the timing chain guide. install Your Timing Chain 1 Grease the oil seal lip with engine oil and place it in the front cover. Verify that the No. 1 piston is at "Top Dead Center" (TDC) of the compression stroke. 2 Reconnect the crankshaft sprocket (marks should point toward the engine's front), oil pump drive spacer and timing chain guide and the lower timing chain. Line up all mating marks.3 Hook up the crankshaft sprocket and pulley, lower timing chain, front cover assembly, engine mount and front mounting bracket, oil strainer and pan assembly and center crossmember.4 Reattach the upper timing chain, idler sprocket (to the back side), cylinder head assembly, idler sprocket bolt and exhaust and intake camshafts. Place the intake camshaft knock pin at 9 o'clock and the exhaust pin at noon. Connect the camshaft bearing caps and distributor brackets and secure all mounting bolts.5 Eliminate any old material from the pan and cylinder block mounting surfaces. Rub on a 3.5 to 4.5mm bead of liquid gasket over the oil pan and cylinder block.6 Attach the upper timing chain to the idler sprockets and secure the cylinder head bolts.7 Refill the cooling system. Hook up the negative battery cable and any other disconnected items. Start the engine and look for leaks.

We purchased a ladies Schwinn Gateway for my niece for a Christmas gitft. When she went to ride the bike for the first time this past week, she realized ther rear tire was flat. The rear tube was replaced,...

if you have the receipt and the bike is new target should take it back and exchange it for a new one if there is no damage and you received it from them like that and just didnt notice it till you got home? If this is some thing you did by mistake the chain should slide back into place if no other parts were removed and the chain guides are in place. here are some links that may help, some times it helps to view someone else. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+repair+rear+tire+on+a+bicycle&aq=f http://www.jimlangley.net/wrench/removerearwheel.html http://www.wikihow.com/Replace-a-Bicycle-Tire http://bicycletutor.com

It always indicates error on the wrist monitor even though i changed the batteries and place myself in the right position at heart level . is there something wrong with the monitor.

You can try BOTH wrists, not that this should make a HUGE difference, usually it is the actual pressure itself. I would try to use to machine on someone else and make sure that your actual pressure(meaning the amount of blood, rate of flow) can be monitored with a wrist model. Some people are forced to use a arm style..... take care... Guy

How to remove right rear axle

No need to open the differential and remove anything. Remove the caliper and rotor. Remove the four nuts on the backside of the backing plate. Use a slide hammer and pop the axle out. If you don't have a slide hammer, you can use a chain. Attach one link of the chain over a lug stud and install a lug nut, give yourself about two feet of slack and attach another link on another stud. Grab the chain where it hangs the lowest (place a rag over it cause this part may hurt)and give it a good outward snap. I hope this helps.
