SOURCE: what to do when uploaded youtube video file

hi, why not try first converting it to a flv format that is widely used by youtube and then upload the converted file, it will be smaller for a start.

Here's a good starting point for a free app that will convert your file.

SOURCE: I upload videos to YouTube and they finish

How long have you been waiting after the video is uploaded?, sometimes it takes few minutes to see it "Live" but sometimes it takes days. It depends on the contents or the size or sometimes it could be the workloads. Every upload is thoroughly investigated/examined before it's published to the public and users. While waiting, let me know with more details about your video (If you don't mind.)
Thanks.

SOURCE: Help! I accidentally deleted all my uploaded

Unfortunately you can undelete them - also the deletion warning tells that this is an unrecoverable action. Therefore the only solution is re-uploading all your videos again.

please check out this link for more details with pictures http://www.ehow.com/how_2036208_youtube-video.html Step1images-5_thumb.jpg Make a movie using a digital cameramag-glass_10x10.gif, web cam, or cell phone. An old VHS will only work if you transfer it to a digital file—you’ll need a digital converter to plug an older camcorder into the computer. You can upload a YouTube movie directly from a phone if you set up a Mobile Profile in YouTube. With a high speed connection, it should generally take a few minutes, give or take. Step2images-6_thumb.jpg Edit your movie. Programs such as Mac’s iMovie or Windows’ MovieMaker are both good—add titles, effects, cut out a bad take, etc. Step3images-4_thumb.jpg Resize the video so it looks best in YouTube. The site accepts QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files at 340x240 resolution. There’s a 100MB size and 10 minute length limit. Step4images-1_thumb.jpg Create a YouTube account. Click on Upload Videos in the upper right corner of the home page. Step5images-2_thumb.jpg Create a title, description, tags, category, and set language. How to load a video slideshow from digicam to a PC website (ex; Youtube)?

Hi,

Video Slideshows comes in different formats. There are movie formats (avi, mov, flv, mpg, etc), flash formats (swf, swif, etc.), etc. Since you have mentioned loading or uploading to youtube website, you have to create a Youtube account first, that is if you don't have one. If you have a Gmail account, this is enough for you to use and access your Youtube account. Then, create an AVP or Audio/Video Presentation thru a Movie editor software. One free movie editor you can use is the AVS Video Editor.

After you have created your Video Slideshow, you may follow these simple steps to upload your video in your Youtube account.

1. Login to your Youtube account. Click on "Sign In"

NOTE: You might want to fill out the form while your video slideshow is uploading, especially the "Tag" box. The "Tag" box should contain what the video is all about when you search the video over Search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

I hope this works for you. Kindly reply for further assistance. Good Luck!

How do i compress or zip a 1.3 gig video so i can upload?

Most video formats are already compressed. Your only solution would be to load the video into a video editor, then save it with either a lower resolution, or a lower 'quality' setting. Reducing the resolution by 20% (eg, from 800x600 to 640480) should bring your video below 1Gb.
