What you are need of is an audio program with SPDIF support this will configure your digital output to allow PCM audio passthrough. Is the sound integrated or on a sound card?

I guess you are only using the on board sound and not a sound card?

Is that is the case, it will not work because the MB does not support it.

    Pls let me know.

What do you mean by "motherboard not showing 6 channel support"?
Have you correctly connected your home theater via coaxial SPDIF cable?
Have you correctly installed your motherboard drivers from given drivers CD?
Have you checked "Enable SPDIF out" or similar in your sound card options menu?
Have you changed input/source on your home theater menu?

Can i make a dual core run like a quad core, or add cores with out changing mother board?

You may be able to install a quad core processor on your motherboard, will need the model to check.
You can't make new cores out of nothing though.

I can get picture with hdmi connected but no sound. Do i have to connect the optical digital audio cable from PC to TV to get sound? Actually the video and sound go to stereo receiver first, video passes...

If your video card supports audio over hdmi in that case you need to find the s/pdif port on you motherboard and the port on your video card (usually right next to and sli or xfire bridge) then you can send the sound thru the hdmi. if not you will have to connect your optical audio cable or a 3.5mm audio out to rca left and right out to your receiver for audio. what video card and mother board are you using? if you know this i can tell you exactly where the ports are for the spdif cable to video card and mobo.

You can download the motherboard drivers from Intel WEB site. Select your model motherboard/device, and make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system.

Broken SATA Connector on Motherboard

SATA connector can be replaced if a local technician should have any old damaged mother board with him and if he is ready to fix it on *********** board. you will have to find it by going to the different repair shop if they are available.there is no alternate solution to this problem as there is only one connector on the mother board. if some repair store agrees to do it for you then it could be done or else you will have to get the motherboard replaced.

Lightning Damage

Hi, if this is lightning damage then unfortunately you are up for a new router and pray that your mother board has survived.
To check motherboard, open case use a torch and study the capacitors in side. these are round objects that stand out from the board in rows of up to 6. if any of them show signs of bulging out the top or bottom then your mother board is also most certainly damaged and will need replacing.
