Since it has its own amp built-in, I'm not sure I follow. Why would you "need" another amp to "power it?" Please be more specific. Thanks.

SOURCE: I have a Behringer PMP6000 Board. It is connected

Since all your speakers are passive, indeed there is a problem like what you describe. This is because with the same amount of signal from the board's speakers outputs, the 2520 can't play the same amount of audio with the PASW18. I don't know what other equipment is available (if any) so let me give you some suggestions.
1. Connect in parallel the 2520s at one of the board's output and do the same with the PASW18 at the other channel output. Doing this you will be able to handle one channel (e.g. left) for the main speakers level and the other channel (right) for the sub speakers level. No stereo playback, so set all the inputs to mono.
2. Use another separate amplifier to drive the subs. You have to provide signal to the amp from any LINE LEVEL OUTPUT from the board (using mono is a very good idea since low frequencies have no stereo separation and in this case you could use a single channel amplifier for both subs, parallel connection)

If there is available more equipment post me back in details to give you guide lines.
In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed (connection diagram e.t.c.), don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, accept my solution.

Thanks and regards

I'm Ziro. I need a part list for the main power supply board for behringer pmp4000 mixer, two transistors were removed from it and I need to know the part numbers of each in order to install them.

In my opinion, due to the physical appearance of pmp4000 and pmp3000 look the same, it will most likely also have a common circuit and parts list (at least, most).
Usually Behringer (and all the manufacturers), with the same series / sequence, using the same circuit, the difference is the number of channels only. You can compare the parts list on PMP3000 schematic, with your PMP4000.

No sound at all, or just to the "r" (rear / right?) speaker? Can you be a bit more specific? Will be glad to help.

hi,
this mixer has output's from cd/tape(rca plug) that can be used to connect an additional amp for output to a sub. It is designed to use for recording but may also server as a pre-amp output to an external amp of choice.

I have two B215 600 watts speakers. Smoke started to come out of one when it was in use. I continued to use the other one, and about an hour later, the bass on that quit working. Any help with...

Sorry, those speakers are rated at 250 Watts RMS continuous, NOT 600. The speakers are nominally 8 ohms. The PMP6000 will deliver about 250 watts RMS to an 8 ohm load so the speakers should be able to take this as long as you had one per side and NOT using bridged mode of the PMP6000. It is possible that you fried the amp, although the PMP amps have a speaker protection network that shorts the output should the amp hard over. It is strange that you could draw smoke with the setup. Hopefully you were not generating very low frequencies that were below what the speaker could handle OR that you did not crank up the bass with the EQ such that frequencies below the speakers rating were sent at high levels. Your speakers are rated for a low end at 55 HZ. You should have the eq cut the gain below that. The leftmost EQ (50 Hz) should NOT be higher than center... if you boost that one, you likely will be buying new speakers. If you need power below that, then you need to be using subwoofers. Hopefully you haven't damaged the PMP6000... I assume that was the amp you were using, although you haven't stated that. At this point, unless the stuff is under warranty, you nee to open the speakers and see what has blown... could be the woofers or the crossover network...Use an ohmmeter to check the woofer DC resistance... should be between 7 and 9 ohms. If it is open circuit, the voice coil is blown.

We just got a PMP6000 and this has to be the worst manual ever written. Not a word about bridge mode except that it has one. Do I have to rewire a speaker cable or what? Which fader would control the...

Yes, in bridge mode you will wire ONE Speakon that will have the two speaker wires connected to pins "1+" and "2+". You do NOT need the manual to do this, the info is right on the back of the PMP6000 itself. You will plug that Speakon into channel "B".

PLEASE note that you CANNOT go below 8 ohm speaker impedance. If your speakers are 4 ohm you MUST connect two in SERIES which requires special cables and the speakers MUST be identical. You can connect TWO 16 ohm speakers in parallel by daisy chaining, however 16 ohm speakers are NOT very common. With 8 ohm speakers you can connect EXACTLY one in bridged mode UNLESS you connect four of them in series-parallel which requires special cables and great care. Believe me you do NOT want to have an accident with this amp as repairing is extensive.

Lastly, put the speaker configuration switch down to the bridged mode.

This is how bridged mode works: Sliding the switch down basically configures the two power amps in monaural and one amp is inverted so there outputs are out of phase by 180 degrees effectively doubling the voltage.

Remember that BOTH wires in bridged mode are HOT and grounding one while amp is on will likely blow out one side or more.

I have a pmp6000 powered mixer. I was running an ipod in and sending out to one powered speaker. I heard a loud pop and smoke started pouring out of the mixer. I immediately stopped using it. This morning...

Cease using the mixer until it is repaired. One or both of the amps have blown. Further use MAY result in power supply damage. 1 to 6 switching power transistors will have blown and often a Zener diode or two. If the metering resistors smoked, there will be two small surface mounted transistors per channel blown wide open as well. These are all in the HCA2400 amplifier module.
