Whooo it sounds like you have fried your computer or maybe the psu power supply unit

To check the motherboard for faults first check all the capacitors,IC(i.e. the small black coloured chips you see on the motherboard). Identifying bad capacitors If any of them is blown off or swollen on burnt then you have to change it by calling a good computer engineer.Check the slots of the RAM clean them by a 1 inch broad painting brush and also clean the RAM by an ereaser. If the problem is due to the slots then sorry you have to change the motherboard. The simptons that the RAM slots are faulty is the buzzer on the motherboard will start beeping continuosly. One thing also check the CMOS battery that small one on the motherboard I hope you know that battery. If that battery is down change it and try.Otherwise you have to change the motherboard it is last way.

Samsung 60 plasma T.V. made a loud bang and wont turn on now.

That sounds pretty terminal I am afraid. First thing to check would be the fuse in the mains plug. After that it will need dismantling for any other fixes. If the fuse is ok, then I would start by opening the case up and looking for anything that looks blackened. Start on the pcb that connects to the mains cable.

Wsher will not spin at end of cycle, tries to and stops. there was a loud bang in the previous load. drum will spin but tight. What to check kenomre 417-44142400

Hi stevensch693,

The loud bang you most likely heard is the capacitor of the motor, it has blown.

Open the washing machine up, look for the following component near the main motor:

You will need to replace this component. Be very carefull when disconnecting it, as it may still give you a nasty shock.

You can find these at any appliance spares shop or even hardware outlet. Note the number on it, if requesting a emplacement - even better, take it with when purchasing one.

Kind Regards

Seems like fuse blown

Does the bike run right now........all lights work, horn blow?? If it runs good and all electronics work, then don't worry about it, it may have been a relay kicking on when you introduced the battery to the system.
hope this helps

Plasma TV, loud bang, dead screen

I have a Sony KE-32TS2 set. We heard a very loud bang, and the screen is dead. We still have audio and the ability to change channels. One electrician friend suggested a blown capacitor in the powersupply. I'm pretty handy with electronic repair. Can I do this myself?

Loud Bang and Projector no londger works

If the internal fuse has blown, if you connect the power lead loosely and move it about, you should not be able to hear any crackling sound of electricity. If you do then it is more likely something else other that the internal fuse. Generally, a loud bang is either the fuse or lamp.

If the machine also did not work again, you have blown an internal fuse or the boiler heater has failed. If lots of steam came from inside the machine when it went bang, you have probably blown a hose, or a safety valve blew off because the heater failed to regulate temperature. Good luck, Saeco are expensive people!
