Disconect the transducer and see what you get, if possible put it in store display mode and see if it works.

New unit used 3 days. Microwave beeps and screen goes to menu, or set time screen. Sometimes changes the date all by itself. Does this in the middle of the night all night long.

I advice you to contact service if it has guarantee. This seems to be a psychological problem about your oven(!). Technical person need to do an electronic research surgery on its board to see if there is any wrong thing.

We had a power outage for about 45 minutes a few days ago. Ever since then the Powerware 3110 has been beeping. I turned it off and left it plugged in overnight and when I turned it back on the beeping...

This could be several things, fortunately the device should actually be helping you to diagnose the issue. There are different beeps for different issues. They are as follows:

1 Beep Every 5 Seconds = Power Outage\Loose Plug Connection\Tripped Circuit Breaker\Power Cord Damage or Failure

2 Beeps Every 5 Seconds = Low Battery Alarm

3 Beeps Every 5 Seconds = Battery Needs Charging\Service\Replacement

3 Beeps Every 5 Minutes = The Battery is discharged and battery power is unavailable (If this continues battery replacement may be necessary)

1 Beep Ever 1/2 Second = Power Requirements exceed the UPS Capacity (remove some equipment to lighten the load on the unit)

Continuous Beep = Short Circuit / Input Voltage out of Range / UPS Fault (Likely replacement of entire unit)

That should help diagnose the actual issue. If it turns out the battery needs to be replaced they can be found online for around $20. A simple google search for Powerware 3110 Battery should return what you're after. Good luck!

I have a Frigidaire FMV156DBA built-in over-the-counter microwave that started behaving erratically tonight. The light started blinking on and off, accompanied by a repeated beeping. I unplugged the unit...

Yes have it serviced. Sounds like there is a loose/corroded connection inside and loose connections can cause fires. The intermittent/ramdom operation is indicative of this.

My kenmore elite 106.59966803 beeps every two minutes. Doors are shut and the unit seems to be working fine. Any suggestions?

if the refrigerator is beeping -- then this is a sign that the door switch is not working properly, loose or broken.
to stop the beeping --- press and hold the "lock/alarm" button on the control panel until the indicator light turns off. ( this turns off the 'doors open' alarm ) --- now if you get the door switch fixed and you want to turn the 'door open' alarm back on, then press and hold the " lock/alarm " button again until the indicator light come back on.

Video adaptor giving beep code on post Asus M/B M2NPV-VM 1 long then 2 short beeps also has a usb over current issue at post but has no usb pluged in. please help me decifer this. thanks in advance troy

This is a fix that worked for me, however I cannot tell you why or even feel that I had done anything which would constitue this as a fix. I leave my PC on 24-7 and came in one morning and it was locked up. Couldn't get a video screen, not even reset worked so I threw the power switch on the back of the power supply. Turned the switch back on and pushed the power up button. The MoBo started 1 long and 2 short beeps, repeating. I pushed the reset button and same thing. I again turned the power supply off, then on again and same thing with the beeps. So this time I turned the power supply off then also un-plugged the power cord to the power supply. I left it that way for maybe 10 minutes, while I did a few other things. I plugged the power cord back in, turned the power supply back on and hit the power up button. My PC booted up...no problem. ???

Point is - this issue as reported by others may just be a hardware or bios fluke and needs a power reset or maybe even clearing the bios and restarting. Reseating the memory sticks, use just one memory stick and rotate the memory sticks to sort out the possible bad one and reseating the processor may also help.

sounds like the video board needs to be re-set it is locked into what ever setting it was in. i have seen a few ways to do the power button trick and this seem to work best!!!
follow theses instructions to a "t" and it should work for you.
1. Turn Off in back (wait few seconds for it to re-set)
2. Turn on in back
3. Turn on in front and hold your finger on it 'till it turns off again -
(you get the beep on then the three beeps for reset and it will eventually beep again and turn off)

4. Turn off in back (wait few seconds for it to re-set)
5. Turn on in back
6. Turn on in front hold finger for three beeps

also have you been to the default screen after doing a power button push for three beeps from stand by mode?

As all of these solutions sounds good I can tell you that about 50% of them will be getting to the restore menu and restoring the default settings, however; the other 50% is yet to be figured out at least on our end. Reflowing is not the answer as I have a reflow machine and it will not fix a no video/audio issue. I have had several no video/ No audio and have reflowed the entire board and nothing. Now on the YLOD reflowing in about 60-70% of the cases will work the other 30-40% is component failure and in that case you are almost certainly better off to just get another board.

My E-Machines desktop just stopped working. A few weeks ago, my user was corrupted so I had to do a system restore to get to my data on hard drive. Did that and backed up to external drive and it worked...

that beep means POST.. your computer hardware is fine .. please just re install the operating systemm... before that you might want to back up the hard drive data using bartpe or some tools similar to that.. if you dont have that expertise. just re install the operating system .. you should get back to work...

remember beep meaning POST meaning your hardware is fine.. the operating system is just corrupted / broekn

It turns off

The e1 code is a demand to clean the filter. It means the unit has been running for 720 hours. It does not mean anything is broken...unless it hasn't been running for 720 hours. That would mean the "clean the filter" timer is broken! There are 2 reset methods.

1) Unplug the machine. Hold down the power button while plugging it back in and wait until it beeps (for about 5 seconds). Let go of the power button. Unplug the machine again, then plug it in and try to use it as an air conditioner.

2) Unplug the machine. Hold down the Mode button while plugging it back in. Keep the mode button pressed until it beeps (for about 3 seconds). Let go of the mode button. The machine will start. Turn it off by pressing the power button. Resume trying to use it as an air conditioner.

If neither of these work, the "clean the filter" timer is broken and needs replacing.

Jensen VM9311/ UV7i wont turn on!!?

Yo, I've got the perfect solution to your problem. Pull out the head unit from your dash. Then, remove the wiring harness carefully from the unit. Now, push in the yellow power wire (even jiggle it a little) making sure it's tightly snug the small port of the wiring harness. Then, plug the harness back into the unit and try turning it on. I've found that the wires come lose easily on this unit. hit me back up at Darkintel74@aol.com.
