SOURCE: maker clicks on, but doesn't perk or heat the plate.

Unlike older coffee makers, the new Mr. Coffee designs seem to have reliability issues in regard to their circuit boards/controllers. You are right in your thoughts. If the unit is under warranty, I would suggest returning it for a replacement. E-mail your concerns directly to the company.

BTW--there are no user serviceable items within your coffee maker.

SOURCE: Brand new Mr coffee PSTX

If you look where the reservior fits into the base, specifically where the water goes in, there is a rubber seal. It's held in by a circulary plastic piece and 3 screws. I took it apart there to see if something was amiss and decided after looking at it some that they had put the seal in upside down. So I put it back together with the lip of the seal facing up instead of down and I have not had a single drop of water leak from the reservior again. Now if I can get the thermos pot that came with it to stop leaking every time I pour a cup I will be a happy camper.

First set the clock on the brewer with the unit plugged in. Press and hold the Hour and Minute buttons until the current time is set. Next press the Delay Brew button while using the Hour and Minute buttons to reach the time you want the coffee to begin brewing.

Set up the coffee maker with ground coffee or beans and sufficient water in the reservoir then follow the directions below.

For brewing with fresh ground beans, press and hold the Delay Brew button until it flashes then press Select once. The Grind and Brew light should come on and the Delay Brew light should become steady.

For ground coffee, press and hold the Delay Brew button and then press Select twice. The Brew Only light and the Delay Brew light should both be on and steady.

How can you reset the time on a Mr. Coffee PSTX brewer?

I believe you use the hour and minute buttons to advance the time to the desired setting. If you hold the program button down and then use the hour minute buttons you set the brew start time. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The coffee is not hot. I have PSTX series.

Does the bottom surface that the carafe sits on get hot. Too hot to touch? If not there may be a wiring problem. If it is a new machine, I would return it for another. Hope this helps.

Just purchased a PSTX series coffee maker. It is really fast and has the SS carafe. My question is, does it have a warmer or does it just rely on the SS to keep the coffee warm?

No in the BVMC-PSTX90 or 95 series.
If this is your model, Is a good coffee maker.
If you are NOT drinking your fresh brewed coffee withing 25 min. YOU DON'T WANT a warmer/burner.
And the reason why, IT BURNS the coffee. You don't have this problem with the "thermal Carafe".

Had the same issue. You have to let it run a cleaning cycle before before the light goes off. Turn machine off, empty pot, add 4 cup cleaning solution and hit the clean button (not the brew button). Let it go through this slow cycle like it says in the manual and it should reset itself.
