Question about Dremel 1830 120V 18" Scroll Saw

Open Question

Dremel Scroll Saw 1830 blower

I have a Dremel 18" Variable Speed Scroll Station Model number 1830 The dust blower that is attached to this saw broke off where it goes inside the machine. I am looking for a schematic diagram for this tool . One that shows every part on the scroll saw Most owners manuals have one . This one does not.
Failing that my question is.
The blower tube still blows appropriately. I would like to have the part that (actually see it) goes over the tube and attaches to the flexible snake like arm. Thanks for any and all help.
God bless... Bill

I would go to Dremel.com and type in your model number, they also have a toll free number so you can talk with one of their techs to get the correct part.

Attach a pressure foot

Did you buy a universal foot switch or one specifically for a dremel? Many times the universal ones should plug into the wall and whatever device you connect to a plug housed on the pedal to operate by pedal. If it is Dremel specific, check the support portion of their website or try sending and email to them using the Contact Us link on their page.

The pot metal in front of thequick release tension lever has broken and fell out. can I still use the saw If not where do I go to get another one 1830 120v 18inch scroll saw dremel

I believe the part you are looking for is called a "locking rod" dremel part number 2610922661, this is the black painted pot metal that is about 3" long attached to the upper arm rocker with a parallel pin, and the flip clamp (blade tensioning assembly) or it could be the small piece attached to the tension assembly that the blade attaches to which is silver and called the "blade holder assembly-top" part number 2610922683. I would recommend ordering both directly from Dremel CS 1-800-437-3635. I broke the locking rod on mine. I emailed dremel, and they emailed me back the next morning with a schematic, and parts list. I bought 2 and paid $10.41 total.
