Question about Motorola Mobility MOTOKRZR K1 Cellular Phone
When I try to add or edit a contact in the phonebook and hit the "OK" key the phone freezes. I have to remove the baterry to restart it.
When I try to send a text message and hit "Send" key, it freezes, screen turns white, returns to wall paper I have in it normally but with "No Signal# message and then returns to normal.
This started three months ago.
The phones motherboard could be dead. Or a problem with the firmware. There might be numerous problems. Your bet bet is to install Motorola Tools and install a new firmware on your phone. If not send it back to whom ever you bought it from if it is still under warranty. Please mark this is a solution if I helped. Thanks!

Tips for a great answer:
1 - Switch ON your Motorola KRZR K1 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.
NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola KRZR K1 is locked to.
WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :
- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'
It's because you or somebody already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to leave the Motorola KRZR K1 ON with the errors message and after 40 minutes to 2 hours the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again!
