Top rotor will not spin

I have the same problem. I have two of these helicopters and just recently brought them out of the closet. On one of them, the bottom rotor spins but the top does not. On the other, it Ian the other way around. It seems like the shaft is not catching the rotors properly, anyone have ideas?

Brookstone Helicopter Cloud DSS

In general, the main rotor in an R/C helicopter only tips forward and backwards of vertical center. Direction is determined by the tail rotor. If the entire machine is tilting right, even if the rotor doesn't appear to be, check the motor mount, and or gear train of the main rotor in the fuselage. The main rotor shaft in the fuselage should be exactly vertical relative to the helicopter deck and with trim tabs centered. If your model has the two small fans, one on either side of the fuselage, try replacing the propeller on the right one, even if it looks OK and check for lint or hair on motor shafts. Again, this is a general answer from my own experience. Hope it helps.

I recently got a DH-1 AeroQuest Mini Helicopter. It was working fine until I crashed it against the wall. So now the top Propeller spins but the bottom propeller does not and the helicopter just spins...

I had the same problem. Bottom blade would not spin. There are 2 shafts that spin 2 gears. The outer shaft that spins the bottom blade has 2 set screws and my set screws got sheered off. I replaced both set screws and everything works now....

Hello, i have problem with flying back and forvard, becouse rear propeller does not work. What is wrong and can i fix it? Thanks :)

Yes if the rear propeller does not work the helicopter cannot be made to turn around. So it is important that the rear rotor works.
Now make sure that the drive is working to let the motor work , if controlled by the remote make sure the remote command works or is a fault in the remote.
Check the mechanics of the rotor movement. reset.

Bladez helicopter, I'm trying to replace the

Hi
I'm sure you're talking about that very small, steel pin located in the main shaft. The most efficient way is to lay the rotor head on a flat surface. I put a steal hut much bigger than the pin behind the pin to support the shaft. I then use an awl and a hammer to tape out the pin. Never reuse an old pin. If they're bent in any way that bend will force the shaft to bend when reinserting it. Good luck

My helicopter wont fly the main propellers on top of the helicopter stopped working

either stripped the main gear inside the heli or the main blades where they slide on the shaft. you should be able to buy a replacement set of blades. try that and see if it'll fly.

Heli max hicro helicopter just keeps spinning in circles

Spinning is caused by one of the main propellers rotating faster than the other. If both propellers are secured tightly to their drive shafts, the spin control knob on the remote control can be used to stop the spin. However, if one prop is slipping with respect to the other, the spin control knob will not fix the problem.
I've found that the set screws holding the propellers to the drive shafts tend to loosen after a while. If one prop is a bit loose and the other is tight, the relative slippage will cause the helicopter to spin.
To check, turn off helicopter power and manually rotate each propeller separately, watching the nylon gears in the body. If the propeller is moving and its drive shaft gear isn't, the propeller is slipping because its set screws are not applying enough pressure on the propeller's drive shaft.
Carefully tighten the set screw and the problem should be fixed. DON'T OVERTIGHTEN, or the plastic threads for the set screw will be stripped and the propeller assembly will be ruined.
