It depends after how long the temperature indication comes
if it comes immediately as soon as the projector comes on[say in 1 min] then the ballast circuit has to be replaced.
if the temperature comes after say 5 mins , it could be that one of the exhaust fans is not moving freely and needs to be replaced!

My projector go to stand by after 5 mints and blink lamp warning

Your projector might have a problem with the cooling system. When that happens projectors shut off automatically due to overheating.
Check whether the fans are working. If they do, and if it is somewhat old, open the cover and clean the 'air filters' that might have bee blocked due to dust.
Hope you will be able to correct resolve the issue.
Best of luck!

your projector is detecting it is overheating, check that nothing is blocking the vents and that the fans are not clogged. If the vents and fans are dirty clean thema paintbrush and hoover. If they arent then the lamp maybe the culprit

As all the posts on here I have the same problem. My panasonic pt-lb10u turns on, green light flashes, fan comes on. Then the green light turns red and the red lamp indicator light comes on. No light emits...

Hi,

If your projector won't fire up then you can't reset the lamp counter so that is not the problem.

The combination of LEDs you have given does not correspond to an error message. There should be two LEDs, one of which is the Lamp Indicator, and the other is the Temp Indicator.

It's possible that an overheating problem has caused this. Make sure the projector is in an area where the temprature is between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F) and the humidity is between 20% and 80% (with no condensation). It shopuld have unobstructed air flow around it.

Disconnect the power. Remove the lamp and place it aside. Clean the air filters, using a hoover, being careful not to damage the filter which is located on the underside at the front of the projector under a flap.

Carefully reinstall the lamp (when you say you replaced the lamp, did you buy a new PANASONIC lamp from a reputable source?) Try to fire up the projector. Note down any combination of LEDs if the projector doesn't work and post hem back here.

After a few min it shuts down just replaced lamp

There may be an overheated or bad capacitor in the unit. You can test with an ohmmeter to determine if there is a bad one. Do check ballast that lamp connects to for power with voltmeter as well.

1. short lamp live 2. overheating

First, make sure you've cleaned any dust filters on the unit!! That in itself will usually stop overheating (think of someone closing off your nose and mouth) that's what happens when the dust filter gets clogged--the unit strangles for cool air and rapidly overheats--this not only shortens lamp life dramatically, but also shortens the life of ALL components in the unit, especially delicate LCD panels or the display chip in a DLP projector!

Panasonic PTAE900 red vertical lines have appeared constantly

Actually you have admitted that you are not handy with electrical equipment and the problem with your projector involves a little bit of soldering and a little knowledge regarding the internal layout of the components like IC's, heatsinks, etc. So I would advice you to send the projector to panasonic telling them specifically the area they need to fix, which is, to check the green & red IC's to identify whch pins have overheated and the solder has melted, causing a short. Also ask them to add spme extra aluminium to the heat sink(green & RED Ic's since they have a common heat sink). So you have to pay the service charge only since you are informing then where the problem is & its rectification. I think in this fashion you might get away by paying 75 pounds only which u have to part with if you want this item repaired, and fact is that it can be rectified, as stated above, making it the most cost effective solution.........................................sodeep
